Chance is going to miss his junior year after suffering an ACL injury, but when he’s healthy, he possesses a blend of size, length, and athleticism that is coveted by college programs. He’s a tough wing who can score from anywhere on the floor, and he has put in a ton of work to improve as a shot creator for his teammates over the last few years. He’s a gamer who doesn’t back down from anyone or any assignment on the defensive end, and there is no doubt in my mind that he’ll come back stronger than ever in 2026-27. He averaged 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game as a sophomore on 58% shooting.

An athletic wing with good size, Chance enjoyed a breakout sophomore year for the Blue Demons, putting up 19.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game on 58-38-61 shooting splits. His length and explosive athleticism allow him to impact the game on the defensive end, and he’s a versatile scoring threat who can play with or without the ball in his hands.

Chance has a chance to really break out as a sophomore for the Blue Demons following a great spring and summer with Murray Elite . He provides some real size in the backcourt at 6-4/6-5, and he has the length to impact the game on the defensive end in a big way. He can shoot it off the catch and is really improving as a playmaker and ball-handler.

Chance didn’t put up huge numbers as a freshman – 9.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game – but he was one of the most impressive players in the state throughout the grassroots season. He’s a long, athletic wing who can play with or without the ball in his hands. He finishes above the rim, is a versatile defender, and is working to become more consistent as a shooting threat.
