Seven players I'm looking forward to seeing in action on Saturday at the Prep Hoops Sophomore ID Camp!

In the lone game that I watched James play in during the summer, he was dominant playing at the 16u level, but had a noteable size difference over his defender. This weekend, I'm looking forward to seeing how he does against some of the better bigs in the 2027 class, with a handful of players 6'7+ attending. James has a strong frame, has soft touch around the basket, and budding footwork to create good angles to score out of the block. Has good vision for a big man as well, and uses his size to see the floor and zip in passes over defenders.

Jackson is one of those players who can make a camp experience a lot better for the players on his team. In camp settings a lot of players tend to play more isolation ball, but Jackson is one of those point guards who excels at getting his teammates involved. I'm looking forward to seeing how he plays with some talent around him, as he's constantly finding an open man and can also play with a bit of flair out in the open floor.

With Nicolet losing some key players from last season's team, Bullock is one of the guys who could be looked to to fill in for some of that production. This weekend will provide a good opportunity to see his progress since last season. The 6'3 guard can shoot it off the catch or dribble, but also moves well at his size to get to the rim and use his length to finish. Saw time in 14 varsity games as a freshman for Nicolet.

Kager is another 2027 prospect who we could see take a big leap forward as a sophomore. There's a lot of lost production to fill in at Wisconsin Lutheran, and Kager certainly has the talent to make up for some of it. At 6'7 he has a smooth outside jumper, and some fluid athleticism to make plays on the perimeter. He's a difficult matchup as taller forwards often have a hard time moving their feet with him on the perimeter. but defend him with a guard and he has a big size advantage.

Graysen is one of the most explosive athletes in his class, and should be one of the more entertaining players in attendance. He excels at getting downhill to the rim, and if you give him a clear path he's going to takeoff and throw down an explosive dunk. Coming off of a strong 15u season with WI Playmakers, he looks set to build upon his 10.5 ppg freshman season.

Reece Jordan put together an impressive freshman season, including a 30 point game against Janesville Parker. Already being a 2nd-team all conference honored player, his resume ranks among the best at the event, and he's proven himself to be productive in a variety of settings. He'll look to produce at a high level once again this weekend, showcasing his quick first step and crafty finishing ability.

Tyson was an instant impact player at the Division 1 level for Oak Creek as a freshman, chipping in 4.2 points per game and playing consistent minutes. Oak Creek graduated their top 3 scorers, and Tyson will look to step into an even bigger role as a sophomore. He's a sharpshooting guard who looks to be able to play on or off the ball. Tyson was trending upwards towards the end of his freshman season, and I'm interested to see how he's continued to progress heading into his sophomore season.
