In short, there will be plenty of college prospects to watch.

Below is a review of a few prospects we are looking forward to watching on Saturday during the slate of Never Forget Classic games being held at Competitive Edge Sports.

Rocktop Academy vs. Executive Education (10:20AM Tipoff)

[player_tooltip player_id='2391362' first='Tammar' last='Brown'] – 7'0” / 2025 / Rocktop Academy / Explosion Basketball Academy / Power Forward: There were only a few opportunities to watch Brown play in a team setting this past summer, so we are eager to check out his development. Brown athleticism, agility and speed are rare for a player of his imposing size. He can score in the paint by powering through contact for slams or with a soft touch around the rim. His jump shot is a developing asset. Brown is a fierce rebounder at both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='2047680' first='Jaden' last='Shipley'] – 6'3” / 2026 / Executive Education ACS / [program_tooltip program_id='2428253' first='Team' last='Final Red'] / Combo Guard: The transfer of standout shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1764304' first='Gabe' last='Hornberger'] to the Peddie School in New Jersey has thrust Shipley into the role of No. 1 option for the Raptors. It will be interesting to watch how this guard who can score at all three levels handles that promotion. Shipley's devastatingly quick first step and creative handles get him to the cup for lay-ins. He can also splash threes and score in transition too.

Episcopal Academy vs. Downingtown West (12:40PM Tipoff)

[player_tooltip player_id='2336898' first='Brady' last='Moore'] – 6'5″ / 2026 / Downingtown West / [program_tooltip program_id='2078682' first='K-Low' last='Elite'] / Wing: Moore “big guard” prospect with a solid frame and a well-rounded skill set. He can pop jumpers from all over the court, dive to the cup for lay-ins and score off the bounce from the elbows. Plus, Moore owns the size and instincts to work the offensive glass for points. With opponents focused on stopping [player_tooltip player_id='1379429' first='Donovan' last='Fromhartz'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1601167' first='Zeke' last='Staz'], the athletic Moore will find himself with 1v1's frequently. He should destroy those iso matchups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2028258' first='Matt' last='McCarthy'] – 6'2″ / 2025 / Episcopal Academy / [program_tooltip program_id='2078678' first='East' last='Coast Power'] / Shooting Guard: In 20224-25 [player_tooltip player_id='2028258' first='Matt' last='McCarthy'] averaged 14.5 ppg., 6.5 rpg, and 4 apg., while shooting 39% from three. However, he posted those impressive numbers while opponents we focused on stopping all-everything shooting guard Kevin McCarthy. With Kevin now playing at Army, Matt is now the centerpiece of EA's offense. From what we saw this summer, Matt has the skills to handle that role. His ability to balance his own three level scoring with distributing to teammates is unique.

Academy of New Church vs. Cumberland Valley (3:00PM Tipoff)

[player_tooltip player_id='2427367' first='Aiden' last='Diehl'] – 6'5″ / 2027 / Cumberland Valley / [program_tooltip program_id='2423459' first='PA' last='Hoops Academy'] / Shooting Guard: One of the biggest stock risers in our late July rankings update, Diehl torched the nets during this summer's live periods with his deadeye three-point shooting. In addition to being an accurate perimeter shooting, Diehl owns the athleticism, speed and finishing skills to be a threat on the fast break. Diehl has flashed the ability to score on straight lines drives to the rack too. He is a plus rebounder at both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='1387096' first='Bryce' last='Rollerson'] – 5'11” / 2026 / Academy of New Church / [program_tooltip program_id='2078697' first='Philly' last='Pride'] UAA / Point Guard: While all eyes are on ANC headliners [player_tooltip player_id='2364681' first='Marquis' last='Newson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2056714' first='Ryan' last='Warren'], we will be focused on this 2023-24 1st Team All-State (Non-PIAA) selection. On offense, Rollerson is a walking bucket who averaged 22.3 ppg. last season for Germantown Academy. This fall / winter he will not have to carry that type of scoring load and we will be interested to see how he adapts his game to play alongside his gifted ANC teammates.
