Expert Analysis
Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
Tasked with a heavy load of scoring and playmaking from the backcourt, Rollerson struggled at times with his efficiency but still stood out with a gritty 15-point effort. He never stopped applying pressure from the opening tip, look to put pressure on the paint off the dribble or space the floor with a quick trigger from 3. Rollerson was effective playing both on and off the ball and while he’s not a pure facilitator, was able to set up multiple easy buckets with advanced passes in transition. The productive senior guard remains on the board as a potential scholarship-level option late in the cycle for programs looking for an offensive jolt in the backcourt.

Rollerson is a fast and elusive floor general who did a tremendous job of balancing his own scoring opportunities with distributing to teammates. When he was looking to produce points, Rollerson got to the cup off the bounce and finished with either hand. He also put the ball on the deck and then slammed on the breaks in the mid-range for pull-ups. Rollerson’s ability to go coast to coast for buckets was also on full display. As a distributor, Rollerson delivered creative dimes to cutters and the dunker spot as well as kick outs to open shooters. On the fast break, Rollerson impressed with his no-look passes that produced easy lay-ins for teammates.

Meanwhile, Rollerson helped lead ANC to the Friends School League title. Rollerson is a versatile and skilled guard who stuffed the stat book every night this season. For instance, in the FSL championship game Rollerson scored 20 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 5 assists. Back in January at the Hoop Hall Classic tourney, Rollerson posted 21.5 points and 4.5 assists per game. At the other end of the court, Rollerson is a menacing on-ball defender who is willing to guard for 94-feet.
