Musgrove was a valuable role player for a senior-laden Carver E&S (PA) team that made deep runs in the Public League and state playoffs, but projects as more of a focal point for a rebuilding ANC program that itself has a talented crop of seniors to replace. He’s a natural rim-runner who plays with an abundance of energy with a rangy frame that looks to very much still be growing and developing. As of late, he’s begun to incorporate added flashes of dribble-drive ability without straying too far away from his bread and butter work near the basket. Musgrove has bloodlines in his favor, with a dad who played D1 and a brother who played at Duke and in the NBA, giving further indication that scholarship-level basketball could be in his future with the added year of runway to develop.
