Chambers vs. Millbrook

Two big time 4A powerhouses collide in Chambers and Millbrook Sunday morning, showcasing a ton of college talent on the floor. For Chambers, [player_tooltip player_id='1682357' first='Markus' last='Kerr'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2023905' first='Tarris' last='Bouie'] are two dynamic wings that have a real claim to be known as the best duo in the entire state. Both are long scorers that make difficult shots consistently, as well as providing some intensity and natural talent on the defensive side of the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='2449196' first='Malik' last='McCotter'] will have room to step up in the backcourt this upcoming year as a quick, two-way guard that can handle the rock with calmness. [player_tooltip player_id='2474519' first='Cameron' last='Thompson'] is another guy who has seen marked improvement over the last 6-12 months as a long 2 guard/wing that is switchable, makes winning plays, and shoots it well from beyond the arc. A true 5 man is not available for the Cougars this year, but their athletic group of dudes can make up for that.

Millbrook reloads well around conference player of the year [player_tooltip player_id='1272558' first='Colt' last='Langdon'], who's elite physicality for a high schooler as well as absurd shooting stroke will make him an immediate impact player at the HM/MM collegiate level. [player_tooltip player_id='2206385' first='Evan' last='Dean'] slots in on the wing as a big time scorer who's got a sort of microwave effect to him, where when he makes one shot, many more are likely to go down. [player_tooltip player_id='1031081' first='Ashton' last='King'] is another dynamic piece added after his transfer from Myers Park, a strong, thick point guard who can distribute as well as get downhill to score the ball. [player_tooltip player_id='2415282' first='Josh' last='Conti'] will be an intriguing big man who can keep learning and developing this year before becoming a star of his own next season. I think this will be one of the best games of the entire camp, with some talented shotmakers making plays.

Charlotte Catholic vs Jordan

Charlotte Catholic will build once again around [player_tooltip player_id='1286838' first='Chris' last='Eagan'], the skilled forward who has tons of D1 interest as he continues to impress with Upward Stars. He can do a ton offensively either from a face-up or with his back to the basket, space the floor, and play solid defense. [player_tooltip player_id='2375700' first='Eddie' last='David'] will reprise his role as a smooth, calm point guard who can knock down shots from deep, while [player_tooltip player_id='2415016' first='Noah' last='Noch'] will be asked to play an even bigger role than he did last year. He did a little bit of everything when it came to scoring and distributing the ball, as well as getting on the glass to help his group out. I think they can take some leaps and hopefully find a few more impact contributors for their chances this year.

For Jordan, the sky is the limit now with their addition of an elite big man and another year of development for their guys. [player_tooltip player_id='1280980' first='Rivers' last='Knight'] is back in a Falcons uniform, which gives them a lot of ability to space the floor and play through him as a stretch big who can also take it to the block and score in the post. [player_tooltip player_id='1990412' first='Derek' last='Ross Jr'] will be in charge of that, with his speed and point guard skills coming in handle as he can navigate the pick and roll, attack a closeout, and get paint touches consistently. [player_tooltip player_id='2349878' first='Zion' last='Wells'] is a volume scorer that can go get a bucket when they need one, and while Knight may the lead the team in scoring now that he's back, don't expect Wells to just take a backseat and not do what he does best. [player_tooltip player_id='2268825' first='Julian' last='Lowe'] is also a young glue guy that can make a difference in games with his rebounding, hustle plays that loves to make, and overall game impact which is great for a 2027. This team should be a dark horse to make a deep run this upcoming year.
