The Lipscomb Signee is such a difficult check in high school because of his shifty handle, deep range, and dynamic quick first step. Wells is a bonafide leader with this group, and should have some monster nights in the backcourt alongside DJ West DJ West 6'5" | SG Trinity Academy Raleigh | 2027 State NC . In a game that they controlled from the start, Wells was in attack mode, getting to the paint and commanding a ton of attention from the opposing defense. Wells and Trinity will be relevant all season long.

A quick twitch wing guard, Wells made a lot of plays in transition using his change of direction and flexibility as a driver. Loving the left to right crossover into a drive, Wells could get downhill without needing an initial advantage over his defender. Wells was impressive in leading the attack for TAR at the off-guard role. He showed he could get rebounds out of the net and create and found openings to attack off the bounce when the ball was in the halfcourt. As he puts on more muscle to his frame, look for his recruitment to grow over the next few months.
