Lowe will be back with Team Loaded South 3SSB 17u this spring/summer where he’ll be surrounded by a lot of talent but his skillset will be an incredibly valuable piece to the puzzle that is this team. Lowe possesses deep jump shooting range off the catch, a strong frame as he’s grown to 6’4″ and added considerable strength, along with having a natural edge to the way that he plays the game. Lowe has a real nose for the basketball and is willing to put his body on the line when competing on the glass or fighting for loose balls. His ability to be efficient on his shots while not needing to self-create them is super beneficial to the other talented guys that surround him. An open Lowe is like a true safety valve, he’s going to make shots at a high rate, and ultimately be as competitive as anyone else on the floor. Lowe is a high academic kid that should continue to garner attention from multiple Ivy and Patriot League schools as he heads into the pivotal 17u summer with Team Loaded South .

Lowe has been a consistent presence for The Burlington School all season long with his shot-making, nose for the ball, and simply having the ability to fit in with anyone. TBS is the 3rd overall seed in the NCISAA 2A bracket with a 16-11 record as they’ve played one of NC’s toughest schedules this season. Lowe is averaging 12.3 Points, 5.1 Rebounds, 1.3 Assists, and 0.8 Steals per game. He’s doing all of that on 45/39/81 shooting splits. Lowe’s ability as a low maintenance yet still consistent producer will translate with him regardless of the team or level he’s on. The nose for the ball, consistency from the outside, and ability to be a true two way connector make him a very appealing prospect. He’s also an elite student which should make those high academic schools even more intrigued with the wing shooter from TBS.

Lowe continues to show progression and the production is becoming more and more consistent for him. In a loss vs Davidson Day, Lowe finished with 18 Points, 5 Rebounds, and 2 Assists. He also connected on 4-10 from beyond the arc in the game, providing a lot of needed spacing to the TBS offense. Lowe’s blend of shooting, rebounding, and edge make him a viable option on most rosters. He’s a really high level student, opening up potential Ivy and Patriot opportunities as well. Lowe should continue to thrive for TBS this season and see an uptick in his recruitment in the process. His game will only become more complete with time if he maintains his current rate of development.

Lowe embraced his homecoming game as the Durham native came out aggressive and locked in for TBS in their dominant win over Durham Academy. Lowe’s two calling cards are simple to me, he makes shots and has a real nose for the basketball. The combination of those two things make you valuable and able to fit into any lineup. He makes shots, he rebounds, and competes at both ends to make plays. Far from just a shooter, Lowe can really attack closeouts to make plays at the rim. He can truly keep a defense honest. Lowe is also a high academic kid and should have some Patriot League and Ivy schools on his line over the next handful of months. Lowe’s continued development is vital for this TBS group!

Lowe is a high-academic sniper at The Burlington School with a nose for the basketball that allows him to be a real factor on the glass and winning 50/50 battles. He is always shot ready, an active defender, and capable of attacking closeouts to make a play. His role on this TBS team to provide an offensive spark to the 2nd unit and bring a real rugged energy to the group. If TBS achieves their ultimate goal this season by winning the NCISAA 2A championship, there’s no doubt that Lowe will be a huge reason why.

-Lowe started out the 5 on 5 play on a heater- splashing his first two 3 point attempts through the net then used that shooting gravity to blow by a hard closeout and finish at the rim with the inside hand lay. He then hit another C+S 3 in transition before racing back to pin a layup attempt off the glass at the opposite end of the floor. Loved the moxie that he showed throughout the showcase as a guard that isn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint for rebounds or bump drivers off their path to the rim.

Lowe was an impressive shooting guard prospect to take note of when the Phenom Hoops NC Soph 40 concluded. He was named a top performer after showcasing his ability to get hot in a hurry with only a slight need for room to showcase his shooting stroke from deep. He’s a prospect due for a big leap on the recruiting scene at Jordan High this upcoming season.
