Twitty is a strong interior presence for Team Loaded South 3SSB 17u as he really held it down on the glass for this group while providing additional scoring on the interior. He averaged 6.5 Points, and 5.5 Rebounds per game while shooting 84.6% from the floor. Twitty’s ability to impose his will physically and embrace his identity as a dunker spot big. This team has a lot of other gifted offensive players on it, Twitty is great in his role as a safety valve/clean up big man who finds a way to produce within that role. Twitty did struggle from the free throw line (33%) this past weekend and if he gets more consistent from there his scoring totals will be even bigger and he’ll be more aggressive around the rim. Look for Twitty to continue to establish himself as a bonafide division one big in NC’s 2027 class.

Twitty brings energy every time he’s on the floor. Physical, active, and does the dirty work, rebounds, finishes, runs the floor. What immediately pops is his nose for ball. Not flashy, but effective.

Twitty is such a physical presence on the interior and that will be an incredibly important element to this Team Loaded South 3SSB. In their first game on Sunday morning, Twitty was a bull in a china shop around the rim, utilizing his strength to finish through contact and carved out space to rebound both backboards. Twitty plays a simple game, he hangs in that dunker spot as a dump-off option and looks to finish above the rim with regularity. He’s catching in traffic with consistency and does a great job walling up defensively to protect the rim. Motor, size, and self-awareness are three great things to blend for a big man, and that is exactly the package that Twitty brings to the table for this group. With how big men are valued at the division one level, I fully expect programs to recognize what he brings to the table with his undeniable effort and production.

Twitty is one of the more consistent bigs in NC’s 2027 class with his versatile two way skillset after enjoying a really solid year at Christ School this past season. Twitty will be playing with Team Loaded South 3SSB 17u this spring/summer where that size and motor will be an incredibly valuable piece to the puzzle they’re trying to build with that group. Twitty’s calling card as a prospect at this point in time is his aforementioned motor and ability to rebound at both ends of the floor. He embraces his identity as a prospect about as good as any big in NC’s 2027 class. His game isn’t super flashy but he’s available for dump offs around the rim where he’s a consistent above the rim finisher. If he plays major minutes in a game he’s a true double double threat every time he laces them up. Even if he’s playing more of a backup role like he did at Christ School this past season, he’s really productive in the time that he does play. With bigs like Twitty being so valuable and his trajectory being in the direction that it is, there’s a really good chance Twitty’s production translates to 3SSB and he gets a serious uptick in recruiting in the process. His skillset will be incredibly valuable to this team and that will translate to his stock rising over the spring/summer.

I was familiar with Twitty’s game after watching him with Upward Stars SE this Summer, so he was one I wanted to check in with this week in Spartanburg. Dylan has a strong frame and will dominate both sides of the floor when engaged. He had a few really good sequences in Green Mountain (Christ School)’s Tuesday Win, displaying his ability to control the glass, work for post position, and run the floor in transition. He finished with 6 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 block.

Twitty had a productive run with Upward Stars SE this grassroots cycle and has really hit the ground running as a breakout big man in the 2026 class; he’ll be one to watch with Christ School given his prowess protecting the rim and running rim to rim on both ends

Strong, skilled interior big with soft touch and impressive passing feel. Physical rebounder with good hands and defensive instincts. Wingspan. The 6-foot-9 big man is somewhat of an unknown to the general masses. He’s a long, fluid athlete with an enticing frame and the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, Dylan Twitty Dylan Twitty 6'9" | PF Christ School | 2027 State NC excels as a malleable, low-maintenance option. He finishes well around the basket, runs the floor properly in transition, and is a useful partner in screening actions. Dylan played with the Christ School this past weekend.

Twitty is a sizeable forward prospect in the 2026 class out of Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy. He’s a 6-foot-7 big man who’s shown he can produce a double-double on the grassroots scene with NC Spartans . He’s a prospect for DII programs in the region to get eyes on given his activity in the painted area on both ends of the floor.
