Chris had one of the most offensively efficient halves of basketball I have seen this month in a win over Marvin Ridge. He put up 21 Points on 7-8 FG and 2-3 3FG in less than 20 minutes of action. During this ridiculous stretch of basketball, Eagan was dominant inside and outside of the paint. He started off inside and finished over his right shoulder frequently, proving it to be a near-unstoppable move. Chris also showed his modern skill set, knocking down threes and taking defenders off the dribble going to the right. Marvin Ridge adjusted by doubling Eagan on the catch, which slowed down his scoring but allowed him to showcase his passing ability for the remainder of the game.

Eagan is another face to keep eyes on with Upward Stars SE . He produced 6.0 PPG and 3.0 RPG on 58.3 percent shooting from the field in just 13 minutes of action during Session II. He’s a prospect with a ton of potential on both ends with his ability to fly around and make things happen around the irm. He’s an underrated name to watch.

Chris had a very solid weekend for the 17U Blue Bracket Co-Champions Upward Stars SE. I was really impressed with his overall game, but one thing that stood out in particular was his passing. He has great floor vision and feel for defenses for a big man. Eagan was doubled some, but not often, which made it all the more impressive that he was able to make key passes from the post. Chris had at least 3 assists in all 3 of Upward’s games this weekend.

Chris showcased his growth and potential with an impressive performance at the Well Invitational. Averaging nearly a double-double, he contributed significantly with 21 points and 11 rebounds in a challenging game against United Faith. His ability to score in the post, be active on the boards, and space the floor off the catch highlights the improvements in his game over the past year. Does things coaches are looking for in todays game.

Last Season Stats – 5.6 PPG, 2.9 RPG
Rapid riser this summer and should be ready to dominate the front court for Charlotte Catholic this season. Wiry kind of forward but looks stronger than in seasons past, which should allow him to continue to finish strong inside. Good out of ballscreens and around the rim finishing, with good footwork down low. Has a bit of a post game with a turnaround jumper and faceup ability to attack slower defenders. An intriguing 4 man for D1 coaches to watch and a name that should pop out locally this year.

2025 6’8 Christopher Eagan (Charlotte Catholic) Christopher Eagan’s gradual development has been impressive to watch, especially the jump between his sophomore and junior summers. Eagan’s time with Team Curry has given him an opportunity to compete amongst some of the nation’s top players, while his time spent in the same frontcourt as Navy freshman Patrick Tivnan gave him a prime competitor to develop alongside. Entering his junior season, Eagan is in the position to be one of the top big men in the Charlotte area. In Session I of the Elite 60, Eagan highlighted his rebounding ability, as well as his vision and passing instincts.

is an intriguing forward prospect to keep an eye on with Team Curry this spring/summer. He’s an athletically gifted prospect that likes to play around the rim on both ends of the floor. He averaged 5.9 ppg and 2.6 rpg on the Charlotte Catholic High rotation in 2022-23 as a sophomore as well. He’s a junior to keep an eye on as a break out prospect in the 2025 class.
