Kerr jumped in the mix with Garner Road ‘s 17u group after Team United ‘s season ended early and he fit in like a glove with this group guiding them to a very successful weekend. He helped manage the basketball in key games, found a way to contribute with his versatile scoring arsenal, and really helped them on the glass in key spots. He had a game where he flirted with a triple double, 11 Points, 11 Rebounds, and 7 Assists. That sums up what Kerr can provide to your lineup as someone with great skill that can help you in so many different ways. He just announced his transfer to Wellington Academy where I’m sure he’ll have a successful senior season. The North Carolina native continues to shine regardless of setting.

Kerr’s size is imposing on the wing and showed he can score inside the two point line as well as from behind the arc. He took what the defense gave him. Kerr makes others better by giving his teammates the ball in the right spots. Kerr is a prospect who will be a priority for high major schools.

Kerr should be one of the top two-way wings in New England after transferring into Brewster Academy. The 6’6″ wing is an elite athlete that excels with the ball in his hands in transition. He continues to improve as a perimeter shooter, while also showing signs of operating as a primary ball-handler in the half-court. Few prospects can score with his efficiency around the rim. On the other end of the floor, he has the athleticism, length, and mobility needed to fill the role of a defensive stopper, while also operating as a high level grab and go rebounder.

Kerr was in good spots on the floor to collect rebounds and steals. He regularly scored through contact and had tough finishes around the bucket. Kerr was a threat to score from behind the arc. He has no issues gliding to different spots on the floor. He has a great deal of versatility with his game.

A 6’5″ guard from Brewster Academy, Kerr is a newcomer to the region and wasted no time showing off his ability to impact games on both ends of the floor. A high level athlete with a great basketball frame, he’s got great size on the perimeter and plus length. When you combine his physical gifts with his motor and defensive intensity, you get one of the top defenders in the country. He guards multiple positions, makes handling the ball difficult for opposing guards, and makes tons of plays off the ball in passing lanes. Offensively, he made a couple really loud plays in transition on Sunday. He attacks the rim off the bounce, stops quickly to elevate in the mid-range, and knocks down shots from behind the arc off the bounce and in catch and shoot situations. While he has a deep bag as a scorer, he also proved to be a willing ball mover and good decision maker in the half-court. Now a ’27, he’s a Top 100 prospect in the class and has cemented his status as a high major recruit.

Kerr comes from Charlotte, North Carolina and looks more than ready to compete and excel at one of the best prep schools in the country. The 6-foot-5 wing is super long and an absolute freak athlete in transition; he was leaking out for breakaway dunks all game and catching lobs over bigger defenders with ease against Vermont Academy. He can really elevate. He also has a smooth handle and can get to his spots on the floor for easy dribble pull-ups, though he took some questionable ones. I would expect him to be one of Brewster’s best players this season, and he’s only a rising junior. He’s already on the radar of high major coaches.
