At 6’3 Ameer plays even bigger than his size, as he possesses a long wingspan and isn’t afraid to take opposing wings down into the post. He was constantly establishing good position on the block, where he showed he can pass out of the post or use a quick spin move to try to beat his man to the rim. Fluid athlete who can weave through defenders in transition or attack from the wing with straight line drives. I like how he looked to get good shots up around the rim instead of settling for tough jumpers.
In the opening game of the weekend, Kellan got things started with a bang. He just wasn’t missing from three in the first half against ABC Young Lions , hitting his first 3 or 4 attempts from deep to start the game. Big time catch-and-shoot threat with length at 6’4 and a high release point to easily get his shot up over a closeout. Did the bulk of his scoring from deep but showed he can attack a bad closeout as he got to the rim for a pair of finishes in the 2nd half. Had one of the biggest plays of the game chasing a player down for a block in what was a tight game with just minutes remaining.
Team Iowa had a handful of guys around 6’3 who could really stretch the floor with their shooting. Cooper caught my eye on Sunday afternoon as he got off to a hot start against ABC Young Lions . Playing up at the 17u level, the 2026 wing hit a pair of threes, as well as a turnaround jumper out of the post to keep his team in front. Such a smooth release with the comfort hitting shots with a hand right in his face. Showed his defensive versatility as he defended a variety of spots on the floor at 6’3.

Ethan put together an extremely productive weekend for All Wisconsin. Whether it was scoring, facilitating, or pulling in rebounds, there wasn’t much that Ethan wasn’t doing on the floor. At 6’6 he’s extremely comfortable pulling in a defensive rebound, pushing the pace on his own, and dumping it off at the last second for an assist. Also excels at getting into the paint in the half-court and playing off two feet. From there he can finish with touch over defenders or find a teammate for a good luck. In both games I watched Ethan was stuffing the box score with points, assists, and rebounds as he’s one of the most versatile 2026 prospects in Wisconsin.

In both games I watched, opposing defenders had a hard time shutting down Lee Gamez Lee Gamez 6’3″ | SG Xavier L Cedar Rapids Iowa | 2025 IA . at 6’3 he has a strong frame that allows him to act as a small-ball forward at times, but he’s also a major threat from beyond the arc. He was one of the best shooters I saw over the weekend as he was making defenders pay for giving him too much space. Lee isn’t the quickest player, but with such a fast release on his shot he doesn’t need much space to get it off. Very active off the ball just finding pockets of space to catch and make plays. Does a nice job of finding a body to box out as soon as a shot goes up.

Taigan put together the best shooting performance I saw all weekend on Sunday, as he drained his first six attempts from beyond the arc against ABC Young Lions . At 6’3 he’s a long and lanky wing prospect with fluid athleticism and some springiness when attacking the basket. On Saturday he impressed with some strong finishes at the rim and a couple of blocks, but Sunday was when he showed just how good of a shooter he is. Taigan is a very unselfish player who wasn’t forcing his own game, and instead just worked off the ball to find open space within the flow of the offense. Shot the lights out leading his team to a win on Sunday afternoon.

Samarcus really impressed with his defensive versatility on Saturday morning. He’s listed at 6’2, but his long wingspan makes him look even bigger than that on the floor. Gipson showed the mobility to move his feet on the wing, but his long frame allowed him to defend in the paint as well. Strong rebounder who high points the ball with two hands to secure possession for his team. Offensively he showed comfort getting into his mid-range pull-up jumper, getting good elevation on his shot which makes it tough to contest.
