was back running with All Wisconsin this weekend, and was simply dominant at times in a 9am win. The 6’6 wing couldn’t be kept away from the basket, as opposing size had a difficult time sticking in front of him with his fluid handle. With his long frame Ethan is able to cover a lot of ground with one or two steps, helping him get from the wing to the rim before defenders have a chance to react. Extended for a handful of finishes inside, or could stop on a dime for a mid-range pull-up when needed. Defensively he was moving his feet with smaller wings/guards with ease, and smothering them with his long frame to force mistakes and turnovers.

Joling was everywhere for Power 5, displaying elite athleticism and unmatched versatility. He defended every position, crashed the glass, and led fast breaks with control. His transition play and ability to make the right decision at full speed made him one of the most impactful players at the Tune Up.

A high leaper with plenty of length. Made it a challenge for defense to contain in the paint on multiple avenues of the game. Bangs against other same sized bigs with physicality and battles hard. Offensively had solid takes to the rim off the dribble a handful of times from the wing spot to the middle of the lane or on the baseline. With his length can really finish high off the glass. Made a sweet up and under And 1 finish. Remained active on misses for a couple O boards to continue to give team a spark.

The inside out scoring guard creates mismatches a great deal with his 6′ 6 frame.
Joling is a reliable source of scoring returning for Hortonville after averaging 16 points as a sophomore. His recruitment will grow as his vocal leadership and lead guard skills develop. In addition he has mid range game and the ability to finish above the rim on the offensive end. Also his length allows him to switch onto bigs and also add presence when ending and extending possessions on shot attempts.
