Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
Sweeney proved to be one of the better ball handlers in the Cream City Collision as he had the ball on a string during the Wisconsin Blizzard ‘s 66-61 loss to a solid Minnesota Lace Up squad. Sweeney ran the show for his club from his point-guard position and was able to push the ball in transition, and find teammates near the basket. He had a couple of baskets of his own to help the cause for the Blizzard, but his biggest contribution came in the form of pushing the ball on the fast break while also providing strong perimeter on-ball defense.

Sweeney brought relentless energy on the defensive end, setting the tone for Wisconsin Blizzard with his tenacious on-ball pressure. His ability to disrupt primary ball handlers and create chaos in passing lanes led directly to transition opportunities. Sweeney’s lockdown mentality helped shift momentum and gave the Blizzard more possessions to play fast and free. His defensive presence was a key spark for the team all weekend long.
