In the opening game of the weekend, Kellan got things started with a bang. He just wasn’t missing from three in the first half against ABC Young Lions , hitting his first 3 or 4 attempts from deep to start the game. Big time catch-and-shoot threat with length at 6’4 and a high release point to easily get his shot up over a closeout. Did the bulk of his scoring from deep but showed he can attack a bad closeout as he got to the rim for a pair of finishes in the 2nd half. Had one of the biggest plays of the game chasing a player down for a block in what was a tight game with just minutes remaining.

Kellan’s combination of size and shooting make makes him an intriguing prospect in the 2027 class. Against ABC Young Lions he was torching the defense from beyond the arc, hitting 4 of his first 5 attempts from deep. He was at his best as a catch-and-shoot threat, but showed he can do more than just shoot from deep. In the 2nd half he had a pair of tough finishes through contact, and a chase-down block late in the game that was key in getting his team a win.
