Kyler’s Summer Watch List: 2025 PGs

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the spring portion of the AAU season about to wrap up, we now turn our focus to the summer which is the time we see the high school action get back underway. Multiple high school events will be taking place in the summer months including the IBCA Top 100 workout, the Charlie Hughes Showcase, plus multiple summer leagues. Prep Hoops Indiana will be out in full force all month watching multiple high schools prospects across the board. After completing a junior year which saw him average 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game, he sky-rocketed to the top 7 in our Prep Hoops Indiana rankings update. He is one of the more dynamic lead guards we have in the state as he someone that can play the floor general role very well while also being a elite scorer as well. A product of Fort Wayne Wayne, Barnes has been one of the more dominant guards we have in the state with high scoring outputs. He can facilitate to keep the defense honest but will take over to win the one-on-one matchup anytime he really wants to, and that is not even mentioning how fast and athletic he is on the ball. Was able to watch Horvath a few weeks ago at Prep Hoops The Stage and was once again impressed with how well and versatile he is in the backcourt. He is more of a 'score-first' type of lead guard but his ability to change direction and be a playmaker is also extremely impressive. He has added some size and continues to be tough as nails when on the floor. There are very few of them in the state of Indiana, but Rivera is one of the elite guards that has the ability to make you think that every time he lets go of the ball, it is going to be a bucket. When on the floor, he takes on a good leadership role from what I have seen and is good about communicating with his teammates on both ends of the floor.
