Richmond has had their share of ups and downs this season, but Carpenter has been a steadying presence in the backcourt for the Red Devils. He was able to reap some rewards for his efforts at the Bob Wettig Memorial Tournament. Carpenter broke the 1,000 career point milestone and hit an overtime buzzer-beater in the first round. The Red Devils went on to reach the semifinals before falling to Shelbyville. Carpenter is a very good two-way guard that should remain on the list of college programs in need of backcourt help.

This Richmond High School guard played very well to start the morning off for Grand Park Premier Pro16. He knocked in a couple of three-point shots, displayed some shiftiness and athleticism in the open floor, and finished well around the basket at the end of his drives. Carpenter always plays hard and finds ways to contribute to winning.

Playing up an age group with George Hill All Indy 2024, this point guard from Richmond High School more than held his own in a win over a talented MidPro Academy 2024 squad. Carpenter is a 6’0″ playmaker with a smooth pull-up jump shot and great court vision. His list of college suitors should continue to grow this spring.

The Class of 2025 in Indiana is loaded with dynamic point guards and Carpenter is up there among the best of them. He is excellent off of the dribble knifing his way into the paint, is a great passer, and scores it well in the intermediate range. Look for him playing up an age group this weekend with George Hill All Indy 2024.
