Logan’s May Live Period Players to Watch

<p>As the May live period approaches, talent from across Indiana and beyond is set to take center stage. From breakout guards to versatile forwards and under-the-radar names ready for a statement weekend, these are the players catching Logan's attention heading into one of the most important evaluation stretches of the spring.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">15u</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">A high potential wing in the Indiana in-state class of 2029, [player_tooltip player_id='2388368' first='Royce' last='Bridgwaters'] has the the combination of length, size, and athleticism to be a big time difference maker every time he steps onto the floor. Really versatile defender that knows how to use his length to his advantage. Active in passing lanes as well as a help side rim protector. Offensively he thrives on getting downhill. Really good in the mid range where he can rise over defenders. Improving three-point shot that will make him more dangerous.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">An athletic forward that gets better game in and game out. So much untapped potential in his 6'7” frame. Really good defensively showing the ability to guard all over the floor. Aggressive as a rim protector around the rim while also being a big time rebounder with strong hands. Not a pure low post scorer, but has shown flashes of soft touch over his left shoulder as well as a face up jumper from the mid post.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">An absolute beast on the low block, [player_tooltip player_id='2958507' first='Walker' last='Johnson'] out of Delta is primed to make a big name for himself during the May Live Period. Legit low post scoring option with good footwork and soft touch around the basket. Really good holding position and has shown intriguing court vision out of the post when the double team comes. Clogs the paint defensively with his size being a terrific rebounder helping start transition.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Coming off one of the most impressive scoring freshman season the state has seen in a while, the Madison product has to be an impressive bucket getter as the spring rolls along into the May Live Period. Not the quickest or most athletic, but plays with supreme confidence on the offensive end. Crafty with the ball in his hands. Shown the ability to get to his spots and finish in a variety of different ways while being a knock down three-point shooter with great range.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">16u</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Elite 6'8” Forward/Center in the Indiana Class of 2028, [player_tooltip player_id='3550033' first='Bradly' last='Basila'] is on the verge of becoming a breakout star nationally. High motor forward with big time athleticism. Impacts the game in a variety of different ways. Possesses improving perimeter skills. High level rebounder and rim runner that is capable of controlling the paint on both ends of the floor.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">A physical paint presence out of Evansville Bosse that plays with a high motor. A raw offensive prospect that impacts the game without scoring. Excellent screen setter on the offensive end and rebounds his position really well. Defensively he clogs the paint and does a good job playing physical. Continues to show improving feel for the game on both ends of the floor.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">An intriguing front court piece for a talented [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] team on the Adidas 3SGB Circuit. Ioane is a long and athletic 6'8” Forward/Center that has shown some impressive offensive skill for his size. Good perimeter shooter while being a capable low post threat as well as a pick and roll option. Really good defender in the paint with his ability to block shots and rebound at a high level.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Not only one of the best players in the Kentucky class of 2028, but a stock riser nationally. [player_tooltip player_id='2439209' first='Jordan' last='Mitchell'] out of Louisville Male is a big time scoring guard that makes the game look easy on the offensive end. Has the ability to score in bunches in a variety of different ways. Just received an offer from Oklahoma State and expect more high majors to follow suit. Special talent out of Kentucky.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">17u</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">One of the premier players in the Indiana in-state class of 2027 is making his debut with [program_tooltip program_id='2317250' first='Indiana' last='Elite 3SSB'] this weekend. [player_tooltip player_id='2140359' first='Elijah' last='King'] is a big time wing that plays with loads of versatility on the offensive end. Strong frame that allows him to get downhill while also being a good three-point shooter with deep range. Should step right in and be a capable scoring threat for a team that's still looking for its identity.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Gotten to see the Bishop Chatard Forward several times in the last year and I have a feeling he is about to explode onto the scene. Skilled left handed forward that has the ability to stretch the floor from the perimeter. Has great length underneath that allows him to impact the game in the paint on the defensive end as a shot blocker as well as an improving rebounder.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">A lengthy true Small Forward that continues to get better each and every game. High potential player that balances his offensive game playing inside-out. Knock down shooter with smooth stroke and high release. Continues to show his overall game putting the ball on the floor. One of the more intriguing prospects in the 2027 class with Mid-Major offers and more interest coming.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Versatile 6'4” wing out of New Albany off to really strong start this spring heading into the May Live Period. Has the ability to play on or off the ball with perimeter skills and a high IQ to initiate offense. Also a really good defender that's able to guard multiple positions. Really nice small college prospect that impacts the game on both ends and makes winning plays.</p>
