Nike EYBL Peach - Ramsey's Wednesday Top Performers

We were back in the gym at the Riverview Parks and Activities Center on Wednesday for a full day of hoops from the 30th annual Nike EYBL Peach Jam in North Augusta, South Carolina. As always, our focus was on the Indiana-based prospects at the event but we also had the opportunity to see several of the top players from across the country. Here are a handful of the best individual prospects that we had the opportunity to watch on Wednesday.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    At 3:15 p.m. I officially called it that [player_tooltip player_id='2112009' first='Beckham' last='Black'] would be Wednesday's Most Valuable Player from the Peach Jam. Obviously I didn't have the ability to see every game and every player, but I feel confident in doubling down on that take. The rising senior point guard continues to make a really strong case for himself as the top player in the Class of 2027 with an amazing summer with AB Elite 17u. On Wednesday Black had an incredible 37 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals in a comfortable win over a very talented Meanstreets backcourt.     One of the most impressive individual performances of the day came from Bowman Jr. despite it happening in a loss for Team Why Not 17u. The silky smooth guard went on an insane run in the second half eventually connecting on 7 of 11 three-point attempts on his way to 33 points along with 4 rebounds and 5 assists. It was arguably the most impressive shot-making display from the first two days of Peach Jam. In terms of raw playmaking ability it is hard to find someone more talented than Bowman Jr. right now.     At this point you could pre-write Daughtry in to any and all top performer articles. The dynamic 6'0" guard continues to have a truly legendary summer with the Florida Rebels. Not only is he putting up some insane numbers individually, but it is consistently leading to winning as well. Daughtry put up another crazy stat line on Wednesday evening finishing with 34 points on insane 12-16, 2-5, 8-8 shooting splits with 6 rebounds and 7 assists.     There is a lot of depth to this guard class nationally in 2027. Jamison is one of the more gifted scorers from the lead guard spot and probably projects more so as a true combo guard at the next level. His scoring and shot-making were on display on Wednesday night while leading JL3 17u to a victory. Jamison put up 22 points while shooting 4-6 from three-point range and adding 6 rebounds and 4 assists. He is absolutely one of the most dynamic scoring guards in the country.     If I were to name a personal favorite prospect in the Class of 2027 it would probably be Kamissoko. That isn't exactly going out on a limb considering he is very highly ranked nationally, but his upside is truly incredible. He is the most gifted athletically and physically in the class, but he maintains some legitimate skill level with the ball in his hands. Kamissoko finished with a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds in an impressive win for PSA Cardinals 17u on Wednesday evening.     We started off the morning with a 16u battle between NW Rotary and Boo Williams. It was Boo Williams who pulled out the 62-61 win, but Mize absolutely electric from start to finish. The athletic 6'5" guard relentlessly attacked the basket and shined in transition on his way to scoring a game-high 26 points. He is an incredibly talented Class of 2028 prospect for coaches at the highest levels of the college game to check out.     Matched up against Mize and a very talented NW Rotary team, Robinson proved himself as one of the elite Class of 2028 playmakers in the country while leading Boo Williams to a 62-61 victory. The 6'2" guard out of Virginia finished with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in the win. His ability to breakdown a defense single handily off of the dribble was incredibly impressive.     It is very clear why Williams is considered the top prospect nationally in the Class of 2028. His size and physicality pop even while playing up at the 17u level. He was consistently able to play through contact, make defenders bounce off of him, and score from all three levels in a win for CP3. Williams finished with an impressive 32 points on 8-15, 3-7, 13-13 shooting splits. There aren't mean rising juniors who could make the transition to high-major basketball tomorrow, but Williams would look just fine at the highest levels of college basketball right now now.
