The top 3 was highly contested with little to no separation between [player_tooltip player_id='2140535' first='Isaiah' last='Mack-Russell'], [player_tooltip player_id='2140877' first='Shawn' last='Foster'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2140178' first='Bryce' last='Curry']. All three of these players showed big time flashes during their freshman season and all have the talent to eventually become nationally ranked recruits.

Spots 4-7 includes three point guards in [player_tooltip player_id='2144204' first='Jaylen' last='Gunther'], [player_tooltip player_id='2140168' first='Ben' last='Mirgon'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2139998' first='Deon' last='Johnson']. Gunther helped lead his team to the Division II state final four while Mirgon was a key piece for Division I district champion Hilliard Bradley. Johnson showed flashes for Walnut Ridge and could breakout during the grassroots season with [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] on the EYBL circuit. In between those guards is the lone forward in the top 7, [player_tooltip player_id='2306394' first='Jamar' last='Keyes']. On a stacked Garfield Heights roster, Keyes played spot minutes but showed a ton of promise. Look for him to be a household name in northeast Ohio next winter.
