The Elite 80 Workout came to Capital University in Columbus, Ohio for 2026, 2027, JUCO and college prospects to be seen by a handful of college programs with instruction from college coaches, high school coaches and trainers from across central Ohio. In this article I'll break down my standout performers from Session II.

The second Centennial player to be featured in our standouts from this workout, the Stars had a bunch of future college players on their 2025-26 roster. Bonner found success as a driver, in both half-court and transition situations. Bonner had a couple nice reverse layups and also hit a nice pivot move to squeeze past a defender for an easy finish. Lots of upside with Bonner as he continues to improve as an offensive player with impressive physical tools.

A new name for myself, Rayam Jr was one of the most productive players I saw all day. Making a ton of plays in transition, Rayam Jr is a long athlete who used his wingspan to get a few steals. A lanky wing, Rayam Jr had long strides in transition and found his most success in the open court. Still taking some time learning where to be in the half-court, Rayam Jr can make another jump with the right coaching staff continuing to develop him. Sleeper prospect out of the Akron area!

A player who I just watched in the playoffs, Pollard impressed with some quick hands defensively and timely shot-making. A wing who has always been able to shoot, it seems like Pollard has taken another jump with his off the dribble shooting and projects as a 3-and-D wing at the college level early in his career.

I didn't get to see Valley View at all this year so this was my first time seeing Denny in almost a year. The point guard had a good day offensively, pushing the pace for his team and allowing them to get out in transition to score. Making the right advance passes to teammates further ahead on the court, I expect Denny to run the show on a fast paced [program_tooltip program_id='2320052' first='All' last='Ohio Red'] team this summer. My favorite Denny bucket of the day came when he made a fake pass to then pivot and hit a close shot past a defender who was fooled by the initial fake. Talented small town 2027 point guard!

Most bigs at Allen's height usually need a lot of time to contribute at the varsity or college level and Allen is no exception as he saw rare minutes for the Big Blue as a Junior. Despite that lack of varsity experience, there's a lot to like about Allen's game. He stands at a legit 6'10 with long arms and can catch the ball in traffic. Allen obviously still has a long way to go but I'd be surprised if he doesn't play a much bigger role at the varsity level as a senior if he continues to work through the off-season and some college programs will be interested in adding a kid of his height to their roster.

One of the more talented offensive forwards in Ohio's 2027 class, Keyes Jr can create plays off the dribble and move in a way that few players his height and weight can match. Creative off the dribble, Keyes Jr loves the flashy crossover and pass in showcase events like this. Hoping to see that talent turn into production and winning this summer for Keyes Jr, who could be a big boost to whatever grassroots program he plays for.
