1. Myers Park (20-2)
Last rank: 1st
Myers Park remains at the top of the NCHSAA 4A Power Rankings as they’ve won 16 games in a row and counting heading into the final week of the regular season. Berry High and South Mecklenburg will round out the conference regular season schedule before the conference tournament begins. Sophomore Josh Hines Josh Hines 6'2" | SG Myers Park | 2026 State NC is becoming a name to know with this group.
2. Lake Norman (21-1)
Last rank: 4th
Lake Norman High makes the leap from No. 4 to No. 2 in the latest NCHSAA Power Rankings as they remain one of the hottest teams in the Charlotte area. They’ve won 11 games in a row and clinched the regular season Greater Metro Conference title. Tre McKinnon Tre McKinnon 6'5" | SF Lake Norman High | 2025 State NC , Santana Lynch Santana Lynch 6'4" | SG Lake Norman | 2024 State NC and Trent Steinour Trent Steinour 6'10" | C Lake Norman | 2025 State #140 Nation NC continue to play strong for the Wildcats while 2026 Nick Arnold Nick Arnold 5'11" | PG Lake Norman | 2026 State NC continues to be a point guard to know.
3. New Hanover (22-0)
Last rank: 2nd
The Wildcats remain unbeaten as juniors Rodmik Allen Rodmik Allen 5'10" | PG New Hanover | 2025 State NC and Noah Billings lead the charge for them on the hardwood. Conference strength of schedule is the only reason Lake Norman passed them in the latest edition. They’ll look to complete their unbeaten season with games against West Brunswick on the road and Hoggard on Thursday.
4. Green Level (22-0)
Last rank: 3rd
The Gators are another team in the NCHSAA 4A ranks who remain unbeaten on the year and 12-0 in the SWAC led by Isaac Ericksen Isaac Ericksen 6'8" | SF Green Level | 2025 State NC , Leon Tye Cain III Leon Tye Cain III 5'10" | PG Green Level | 2024 State NC and Israel Eatman Israel Eatman 6'4" | CG Green Level | 2025 State NC . They’re a scary group who’ve put their best foot forward this season and should be tough to contend with when the state playoffs arrive.
5. Weddington (22-1)
Last rank: 5th
Weddington High remains steady at No. 5 as they’ve won 10 games in a row and counting and are 7-0 in Southern Carolina Conference action. Kenneth Dwayne Younger Kenneth Dwayne Younger 6'4" | SF Weddington | 2025 NC and Grant Hamilton Grant Hamilton 6'2" | CG Weddington | 2024 State NC continue to lead the way for the Warriors as they could be a dark horse in this year’s 4A State Playoffs.
6. Richmond County (18-5)

Paul McNeil Paul McNeil 6'6" | SG Richmond County | 2024 State #172 Nation NC has Richmond County Senior High playing a strong brand of basketball since he’s returned and continues to shatter the record books. They’re 11-0 in Sandhills Conference action with only Scotland County left on the schedule before conference tournaments begin.
7. North Mecklenburg (19-3)

Isaiah Evans Isaiah Evans 6'6" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State #17 Nation NC continues to put together a stellar senior campaign before he heads over to Durham this fall. He’s led them to a 12-0 season in the Queen City Conference with solid weapons at his disposal in Chadlyn Traylor Chadlyn Traylor 6'3" | PG North Mecklenburg | 2025 State #384 Nation NC and Trey Maxwell Trey Maxwell 6'4" | SG North Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC .
8. Mount Tabor (17-5)
Mount Tabor finds themselves as a newcomer in the latest edition of NCHSAA Power Rankings as they’ve battled their way into first place in the CPC with a 10-2 record. Shamarius Peterkin Shamarius Peterkin 6'3" | CG Mount Tabor | 2025 State NC and Jadon Blair Jadon Blair 6'5" | SF Mount Tabor | 2025 State NC have gelled well together in the backcourt and on the respective wings. Look for them to make some noise out of the CPC Conference Tournament in the coming week.
9. South Mecklenburg (21-1)
The Sabres are coming off a big overtime victory over Ardrey Kell in South Meck Conference action as they’ve built a four-game winning streak since falling to Berry on Jan. 30. Peter Moye Peter Moye 6'3" | SG South Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC finished with 21 points while Anderson Skelton Anderson Skelton 6'4" | CG South Mecklenburg | 2024 State NC went for 19 on three made 3-pointers.They’ve got a big one coming up against Myer Park on Friday to close out the regular season schedule.
10. Davie (19-3)
Last rank: 6th
The War Eagles have taken three losses since the last NCHSAA Power Rankings, showing just how tough the CPC is. The conference tournament should be an exciting one as Glenn High and RJ Reynolds High will wrap up their final week of the regular season. They’ve got the potential to make a deep run in the state playoffs if their core of Jackson Powers Jackson Powers 6'6" | PF Davie | 2025 State NC , Bryson Mickey Bryson Mickey 6'0" | CG Davie | 2025 NC and Coleman Lawhon Coleman Lawhon 6'1" | CG Davie | 2024 State NC remains successful.
