Maxwell plays a lot like his brother, Tristan, used to when he was at North Meck. Both shoot the cover off the ball, but Trey has more of a interior and mid-range scoring acument to his game. Good off the catch shooter, but when he dribbles he’s wanting to get to the hoop. Really thrives as a complementary scorer that can get open looks and not have to create his own all the time. Maxwell had a big 3rd quarter that helped swing momentum in North Meck’s favor. That’s when he began heating up from three and never really cooled down. He scored 20 points in the second half alone, 22 for the game, and hit 4 clutch free throws in crunch time to help secure the win.
