Peterkin takes home District 7 Player of the Year out of Mount Tabor. He put up 23.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 2.4 steals and 1.2 blocks per game in leading the Spartans to a 23-6 record and a 10-seed in the NCHSAA 4A State Playoffs. He set the new school record for points in a game with 52 points this season as well. He’s a prospect with a bright future ahead of him as he heads to Virginia Tech for football.
