His stat line of 36 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals showcased his exceptional talent and determination. McNeil’s scoring prowess, combined with his size, athleticism, and defensive tenacity, solidified his status as one of the best to ever wear a Richmond jersey. He demonstrated his offensive versatility by scoring effectively from all three levels of the floor, shooting 8-15 from inside the arc, 4-10 from beyond the arc, and a perfect 8-8 from the free-throw line. Additionally, his hustle, intelligence, and grit on the defensive end further emphasized his impact on the game.

Paul’s leadership and standout performances are instrumental in Richmond’s quest for a return to the State Championship. His notable contributions in the win against Green Level include a well-rounded stat line of 24 points (4-8 3FG), 10 rebounds, and 6 assists. Paul showcased his versatility by excelling in various aspects of the game, such as scoring efficiently, getting to the rim, hitting pull-ups, and demonstrating proficiency at the free-throw line (6-9). The Richmond Raiders were able to reach the State Championship game for the first time in over twenty years and he was one of the main reasons why. His scoring ability against all types of defensive schemes was on full display throughout the year but what truly impressed us even more than his play was his mental toughness and how much he celebrated the success of his teammates. For the season he averaged 24 Points, 9 Rebounds, and 4 Assist, while leading his team to a 28-3 record.

Big time players make big time plays in big time games and that’s what we are fully expecting to see from this young man. MPHS dominated his squad early on in the season before his return the team. His ability to score the ball in various ways is one of his strengths but he also does a nice job of getting teammates involved and finding his offense within the flow of the team concept.

His 30 Point performance against Holly Springs was easily the top performance of the day, as he scored the ball in just about every way possible. Knocking down the three point shot at a high level, beating players off the dribble to get to the basket and scoring from midrange were all things we saw from him. We love the fact that he never seems to get rattled regardless of what may be going on and he’s just as excited for the success of his teammates as he is his own success.

His team was eliminated in the regional semifinals last year, but he was determined to not allow that to happen again this season. He scored a game high of 35 Points to lead the way, knocking down shots from all levels and helping Richmond to reach their first Regional Final in over 20 years.

The Raiders were dominate in their matchup with PFHS, and he led the way scoring a game high of 27 Points to push their winning streak to 13 games and an overall record of 20 wins and 2 losses. He’s a player that you can count on to consistently provide production on the perimeter and he has the ability to score in different ways regardless of how he’s being defended.

He got off to an outstanding start in their matchup with Pinecrest and helped his team get out to a large lead early which they kept throughout the night. His scoring and rebounding ability were on full display as he scored 31 Points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead his team to a win and the first-place spot in their conference.

Mcneil is so dynamic as a scorer, and it’s great that he decided to come back and ply his talents at home in North Carolina. He’s got to sit certain games because of the transfer back, and it shows when he’s not on the floor. He gets to his spots whenever he wants, and hits difficult shots from them. He’s still improving as a shooter but for how many attempts he takes, he’s an above average one. He’s a big time finisher at the rim and inside the arc, and opponents cannot stop him when he gets going downhill with his speed, length, and jumping ability. He shows prowess as a rebounder too, especially when his teammates miss shots. He comes flying in with strength to either putback misses or give his team a second possession. He’s a definite high major player and it will be exciting to see where he ends up.

Since his return back to Richmond, he’s been on a mission, dominating in just about every game they have played but their latest matchup against Union Pines ended up being a career night for him as well as another dominant win for his team. He scored a career-high of 41 Points on 22 field goal attempts as well as passing 1,000 points for his high school career. School at the high major level are recruiting him hard and it doesn’t take a long time to see why as he is a very skilled player that can score the ball at a high level, especially from the perimeter.
