The biggest high school basketball night of the week, Tuesday! It's Tuesday and time to talk match-ups and predictions.

6AAA Columbia Heights at DeLaSalle

Zy'lerre Stewart vs [player_tooltip player_id='1968456' first='Justin' last='Johnson']. The explosive Stewart is scoring 19 points a contest. Johnson does some handling for the Islanders and he keeps things steady. Stewart is one of the most impressive downhill players in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284156' first='Jency' last='Davis'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2126102' first='Jaeden' last='Udean']. The Islander leading scorer is Udean at 14.3 points per game as he continues to get better with each game. Davis is scoring 14.3 points a game as the speedy CH guard.

Randy McClendon vs De'Von Irvin. Irvin is one of the best defenders in the state and tonight his assignment will be McClendon, a 28 point per game scorer who can change games with his tough.

[player_tooltip player_id='2424020' first='Camren' last='Smith'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1148715' first='Jaden' last='Morgan']. Smith gives his team some size that will be needed on Morgan, the UMD wing. Both players are scoring just under ten points a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284107' first='Christian' last='Henderson'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2365712' first='Ray' last='James Jr.'] James has been a real nice surprise this year scoring in double figures and battling bigs. Henderson is similar in size to James and should be a good match-up.

Prediction: This will be very interesting. It's the biggest game of the year so far for Columbia Heights, and it's a needed game for the struggling Islanders. Very tough one to predict, I will use the home team edge for the base of a two point De victory.

Minnehaha Academy at 1AA Breck

[player_tooltip player_id='1499627' first='Lorenzo' last='Levy'] vs Nasir Muhammad. The Redhawks are going to need every bit of the 19 points a game from Levy to have a chance. Nasir is scoring 15 a night and is a ball pressuring nightmare for teams at times.

[player_tooltip player_id='1617740' first='Fitta' last='Jafar'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1151197' first='Daniel' last='Freitag']. Not sure that these two will actually match-up but Daniel is scoring 21 a night and is leading Breck in many ways as their top scorer and creator. Jafar is a junior scoring nine a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2104454' first='Kingston' last='Manning'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1574225' first='Miles' last='Newton']. Both players are juniors. Manning is scoring 11 a game, Newton is scoring 13.5 a contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2090661' first='George' last='Norsman'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1560864' first='JP' last='Musoke']. Norsman is a 6'5 junior big averaging 14 points a contest. Musoke is nearly that size scoring 11 a game.

Prediction: Redhawks are coming off of a nice win over St. Cloud Tech to get them to 7-7 but Breck is undefeated and clearly the best team in Class AA. This should be a 20+ win over Breck.

9AA Sauk Centre at 6A West Central

Damian Ahrens vs [player_tooltip player_id='1464341' first='Camden' last='Anderson']. The playmakers. Ahrens is a big shorter, more compact. Plays with an edge. Anderson is a few inches taller, longer and he's an excellent passer than can score in a big way when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284153' first='Jay' last='Neubert'] vs Bryce Kjesbo. A couple of 6'1 guys that will do a lot for their team as shooters, rebounders, and scoring producers. Neubert does it at a high level as he is one of the best guards in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='1284134' first='Ethan' last='Riley'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='2451433' first='Ben' last='Bye']. The guys that will battle around the paint, and set screens and board. Riley is 6'3 and can play on the perimeter as a slasher, Bye is the screen setter and rebounder for West Central that can score as well.

Prediction: This should be an excellent league game. Sauk Centre will be on edge after a loss, West Central has the edge of home court advantage. Close game, I say Neubert gives his team a three point edge.

Rochester Century at 5AAAA Lakeville North

Markes Sampson vs [player_tooltip player_id='1269166' first='Matt' last='Drake']. I loved the way Sampson handled his team when I saw them over Holiday break. He's been a break out player. Now he takes on one of the best players.

[player_tooltip player_id='1332274' first='Shaun' last='Wysocki'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1284147' first='Jack' last='Robison']. I don't know if Robison will be on Wysocki because North can use [player_tooltip player_id='1436479' first='Andrew' last='Quam'] on Shaun and others, but Wysocki and Robison are the same size and Wysocki has a tough, physical active game. Robison will likely be matched-up against a player or players that he will use his skills and four inch advantage on.

Prediction. Century has been waiting for a breakout opportunity and this is it. They've beat Mankato East and took Farmington to the end before losing by two. Can they get the upset here? Panthers by nine.

4AAAA Hopkins at Edina

[player_tooltip player_id='1284163' first='Josiah' last='Coleman'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1574212' first='Anthony' last='Smith']. Coleman leads Edina in scoring, Smith is scoring 20+ for the Royals, they are the scorers to watch against one another.

Prediction: Hopkins will win this league game by ten.
