For an opposing team, it’s never a good sign when an opponent’s leading scorer gets a bucket right after the opening tip. Anthony scored just seconds into Friday night’s game, and within just a few minutes had already racked up 12 points. SLP just didn’t have a guy who could stick in front of the shifty guard, and with his ability to score from just about anywhere within the half-court line, defenders could not stop him from getting to his spots. He mixed in some deep threes, mid-range jumpers, and physical finishes around the basket to rack up 41 points in the win.
