Joyner shot the ball well showing range but a pretty good handler in creating the move to get himself some space. Joyner is part of a stacked program of guards at Hopkins so it will likely be younger levels for some time but Joyner is a player that will do well there and into 15u. Defenders had a terrible time chasing Joyner down and then trying to move with him while in position.

Hopkins has guards forever so Mason is going to be at some younger level this year and throttling younger players with his touch, size and separation ability. Really liked his feel for the game breaking down the defenders and that mid-range touch was pretty.

At an early stage, Mason has a combination of size, athleticism, and all-around skill that will make him a guard to keep an eye on over the upcoming years. I only got to see him during the 3v3 portion of the showcase, but with all of that space on the floor he was so dangerous. Mason could create separation for a pull-up jumper, or use his big frame to get all the way to the rim. Has the touch to finish with finesse while also having no problem scoring through contact. It may take him a year or two to break into the varsity rotation at Hopkins, but down the road he could develop into a key contributor.

Mason is a dynamic offensive weapon, as he is very confident and is great at hunting for his own shot. He can score from anywhere on the floor, as his range extends well beyond the three-point line. I watched him hit on triples near the volleyball line, taking advantage of the defense not contesting him.
