Fitta had a great game in the tight loss to Hopkins, almost leading his team to th upset victory. He did most of his scoring damage off the catch from behind the three-point line. He was able to get shots off with a minimal contest with his quick release, not allowing defenders to get a proper close out. He was on fire in the first half and had some important plays down the stretch as well. Jafar plays hard and can take over a game in a flash.

On the receiving end of a lot of Lorenzo’s kickout passes was Fitta Jafar. The junior guard always had his hands ready to shoot, and showcased a quick and confidence release even in the face of a closeout. It seemed like any time Minnehaha needed a bucket, Fitta Jafar found himself in space on the perimeter to knock down a three. Finished with 18 points in an overtime win for Minnehaha.

I really like the energy that Fitta brought for his team, constantly making plays that positively affected the game. The first trait about him that stuck out to me was how vocal he was on the defensive side of the ball. He was always making everyone aware of who they were guarding and that everyone was in the right spots. He has great touch around the basket, as I saw him connect on a couple floaters as well. Jafar also showed the ability to take defenders off the dribble to create separation for shots.
