With Myers Park, Olympic and Ardrey Kell in the South Meck Conference, they'll have their work cut out for them. They've got Richmond Senior High on the schedule this Saturday in non-conference action then they'll resume league play on Jan. 9 against Ardrey Kell on the road.</p>

<p>It's been 43 wins and counting for the defending 3A State Champions heading into 2024. [player_tooltip player_id='1154633' first='Chase' last='Daniel'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1158774' first='Carson' last='Daniel'] have been formidable as ever in the backcourt while [player_tooltip player_id='1743939' first='Desmond' last='Kent Jr'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2213545' first='Joshua' last='Dalton'] remain unsigned seniors for DI programs to take notice of. They're a favorite in the South Piedmont Conference as they kick off action Wednesday night against Northwest Cabarrus High at home.</p>

He took home the MVP award at the Frank Spencer Invitational with 17 points against Mount Tabor High in the championship game to end 2023. He's a name for DII and DIII programs to get to know after recently surpassing the 1,000-point mark, [player_tooltip player_id='2319817' first='Brady' last='Clark'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1273265' first='Isiah' last='Lash'] are also names to know with this group. They'll resume Northwest Conference play on Friday against Mount Airy (3-3).</p>

<p>The Gators traveled to Tampa Bay and went 3-0 to take home the Sun Bash Tournament Championship to close out 2023. They're an early favorite to take home the Southeast Wake Athletic Conference title in 2023-24 with a strong cast of players. Tye Cain led the way as he continues to raise his stock in the 2024 class. <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1892439' first='Jackson' last='Powers'], [player_tooltip player_id='2319820' first='Bryson' last='Mickey'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2319830' first='Coleman' last='Lawhon'] have Davie High off to a strong start as they're coming off a championship in the Ledford Christmas Classic. Powers took home MVP honors with 23 points, six rebounds and four blocks in the title game. Mickey gad 15 points, three rebounds and two assists while Lawhon dished out 10 assists in the title game. They're an unselfish bunch to keep an eye on as they resume Central Piedmont Conference tonight.</p>

All three are averaging double-figures in scoring and pacing a deep group of prospects on the hardwood. They've got a big meeting coming up this Friday night with a matchup against North Lincoln High in league play.</p>

They've proven to be a tough cover so far as the mid-season point approaches. They'll look to stay unbeaten with Western Guilford High sand Walkertown on the schedule this week.</p>

As [player_tooltip player_id='1225452' first='Trevon' last='Holleran'] returns to form, look for them to be a force in the Three Rivers Conference.</p>
