A combo guard out of Greenville, he was one of the talents we evaluated when previewing Sunday’s Prep Hoops North Carolina Top 250 Expo. On the travel circuit, he ran with Team Premier 2025. He also had a stint with East Carolina Elite Gold 17U where he played up in class. Godley is a multi-sport athlete who has also partaken in football to go alongside his basketball accomplishments. He has no problems drawing contact to get to the free throw line and can come through with strong and emphatic finishes at the cup. Godley is an efficient runner of the floor and can make more than his fair share of difficult shots.

Godley was arguably the best prospect in the Team 7 fold who took over in spurts with his ability to attack the rim and operate off the bounce. He was a terror to defend against given his confidence at the lead guard spot and ability to finish with authority as he did on numerous occasions throughout the day. He was coachable throughout the day as he showed off his length and ability to rebound in bunches in the painted area as well. He’s a name in the 252 area at South Central High that DI and DII programs should get eyes on this upcoming season.
