* Don’t sleep on Columbia Central. They have a tough 2-2 combo with Derek Sanders Derek Sanders 6'5" | CG Columbia Central | 2025 State MI and Connor Cole Connor Cole 5'10" | PG Michigan Center | 2024 State MI . They’re currently sitting at 4-0 on the season.
* Mason Struck Mason Struck 6'6" | PF Chesaning | 2024 State MI continues to dominate his senior season. He recently put up 30 points in a win against Mt. Morris. Struck uses his well rounded game and versatility to basically thrive in every matchup.
* Saline is off to a 5-0 start. What makes this really interesting is that they are riding a super sophomore class. They have 5 sophomores in the regular playing rotation and 7 on the roster. The class has been highlighted early by the play of Jonathan Sanderson Jonathan Sanderson 6'2" | PG Saline | 2026 State MI , Lincoln Keyes Lincoln Keyes 6'5" | PF Saline | 2026 State MI , and Tommy Carr Tommy Carr 6'1" | CG Saline | 2026 State MI .
* Jeremiah Jones Jeremiah Jones 6'1" | SG Grand Rapids West Catholic | 2024 State MI , a senior guard from West Catholic, recently received an offer from Alma College. The fast footed guard is quick and explosive,
* Bendle is a team to keep an eye on. They have been led by senior shooting guard Malik Neal. Next level coaches will want to take a look at him and his game. Neal is currently averaging 12.6 ppg and 3.2 apg.
* Alex Genuise Alex Genuise 6'2" | SG Allendale | 2025 State MI recently had a 30 point game for Allendale.
* The Gabriel Richard Pioneers have been featuring one of the most explosive backcourts in the state. Nick Sobush Nick Sobush 5'11" | PG Riverview Gabriel Richard | 2025 State MI and Luke Westerdale Luke Westerdale 6'1" | SG Gabriel Richard | 2025 State MI have led the team to a 5-0 start and recently combined for 46 points and 12 assists in a win.
* Portage Central’s Benjamin Johnson Benjamin Johnson 5'10" | PG Portage Central | 2026 State MI is coming off a huge week. He averaged just under 30 points per game in 2 contests.
* How about a double double-double and a triple-double combined for Whitehall’s Camden Thompson Camden Thompson 6'5" | SF Whitehall Vikings | 2025 State MI in a win against Montague. For the double double-double he tallied 27 rebounds and 23 points. As far as the triple-double, he added 10 assists.
* Trevor Zamarron Trevor Zamarron 6'1" | PG Greenville | 2024 State MI , from Greenville, has committed to Spring Arbor University.
* This is not what happens when I call glass. When St. Clair’s Evan Trudeau Evan Trudeau 6'1" | SG St. Clair | 2026 State MI calls glass, heads up. He put down a dunk that shattered the glass.
* Oxford’s Jake Champagne Jake Champagne SG Oxford | 2025 State MI isn’t just having a great season. He’s having a legendary career for the school. After a 28 point performance, Champagne moved into the top 10 all-time scorers at Oxford with 708.
* Jase Becher Jase Becher 6'8" | C Linden | 2025 State MI from Linden had 3 straight double-doubles. And he was just 2 rebounds short of the 4th in a row. Becher has shown off improved touch around the rim and increased strength and muscle.
* Craig Hureskin Craig Hureskin 6'1" | SG Ottawa Hills | 2024 State MI needs to be talked about with the top unsigned seniors in the state. His team fell victim to Beecher is a tight 72-68 contest, but Hureskin left his mark. He scorched the nets for 36 points.
* Brother Rice is loaded with talent, and having 2 of the most improved players in the state certainly helps the cause. Junior David Williams David Williams 6'0" | SG Brother Rice | 2025 State MI has been one of the best lead guards I’ve seen this season while senior Luke Salkowski Luke Salkowski 6'7" | PF Brother Rice | 2024 State MI has developed into an elite post player.
