Johnson is a high quality player and prospect. He’s an electric guard that simply doesn’t give the defense a second to relax. Johnson constantly pressures his man with his abilit to handle and get downhill, as well as make plays for his teammates. Johnson can score in bunches when he hits his stride.

Johnson has made a lot of noise as a player and prospect over the last year or so and that continued at Love And Basketball. He’s an electric guard that both created for others and scored at a high level at the event. When Johnson gets downhill he’s a terror to stop. He racked up 21 points and was named the MVP in Portage Central’s win against Forest Hills Northern.

People are starting to see the extremely high upside in Johnson’s game. First of all, he’s a terrific 2 way player that takes pride his defense. Offensively, he can be both diverse and dynamic. Johnson can create looks and score from anywhere on the floor, but he’s also a great passer that gets the ball to it’s spots.

Johnson was an excellent 2 way player at the Freshman Showcase. He was able to defend at a high level and was seen on a couple occasions swiping the ball away from some pretty good ball handlers.

Johnson used his quick feet and eye for the ball to create a little chaos for the offense. He did a nice job getting in the offensive players chest and getting steals.

Johnson showed off a really solid all around perimeter game at the Freshman Showcase. Defensively, he was able to utilize his quick hands to create turnovers. Offensively, he proved to be a multi level scorer with 3 point range on his jumper. Johnson was solid in transition using the bounce pass to feed teammates for fast break buckets.
