There had to have been an in office work party at WSU when Westerdale committed. I just think that he’s going to be a great long term addition to that program. Westerdale is a classy young man that shines on and off the court. On the court, he’s an electric shooter that can handle like a PG.

Westerdale is a top notch prospect that has very transferable skills. First of all, he’s an elite shooter that can hit off the bounce or the catch with deep range. Westerdale doesn’t need much time or space to get off a clean look. In addition, don’t overlook his ability to handle the ball and make good decision with it.

Westerdale is one of the most explosive shooters in the state. His jumper is just plain and simply a game changer. Westerdale can get his shot up in any all situations. He can do anything from shoot off screens to pop out on the break for a triple.

In my humble opinion, Westerdale is a player that should have a laundry list of next level offers. His a modern day lead guard to the definition. He can pass on the move, control pace and make plays for teammates. But he’s also an elite shooter and scorer. Coaches would drool at the opportunity to watch this young man go to work.

There were some rumblings coming out of Ohio about Westerdale. The stone cold shooter had himself some games. He had 2 20 plus performances, 1 coming against a defending state champion in Ohio. Westerdale isn’t just a shooter, as he can play athletically against elite competition. His weekend should and did draw college interest.

I’m thoroughly convinced that Westerdale doesn’t get the publicity that he deserves. The young man is a bona fide shooter and scorer. He can pull up and hit a 3 while on the move thanks to his terrific shooting balance.
