The high school season is creeping closer and closer and we at Prep Hoops Indiana will be giving you non-stop previews until the first week of action. With as many talented players in the state this season, it is important that we give you a list of names to keep an eye on for the season, which is what I will be doing with each position in the 2024, 2025, and 2026 classes. The point of my list is to give you a preview of some the players that are maybe overlooked a little, still on the college recruiting board, or guys in general that deserve to have eyes on them. With that said, here are centers to watch for in the 2026 class this season.

He is still an extremely raw post prospect but you can tell there is the upside twith his size. His rebounding ability, as well as how he defends around the rim, is at a really high-level for his age. Still has some work to do in his overall game, but this could be a breakout season for him if he is able to turn it up a notch.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65492e46a50fa"} /-->

At 6'8, he is a shot blocker on the defensive end and can score well through contact on the offensive end. Had a real strong summer playing for [program_tooltip program_id='2076927' first='Indy' last='Heat'] Red and showed flashes of that upside. You can teach his size and if those skills continue to grow, look out.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65492e46a516c"} /-->

Crews is a massive post presence. Has a smooth touch and is continuing to get better and better at finishing at the rim. Runs the floor well for his long size. He is a super athletic and bouncy around the basket. That allows him to finish above the rim offensively and protect the rim at a high level defensively. He is 6'7″ with some raw explosiveness around the rim, a high motor when tracking down rebounds, and the ability to impact the game defensively. He could very well be the best big in the in-state 2026 class. Southport got a real player.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65492e46a51f4"} /-->
