The elite talent in the Class of 2024 has been impacted by the departure of two Power 5 Level recruits to out of state prep schools. But there are still accomplished headliners at the top, and a good variety of unsigned seniors throughout the top 10.
Committed to Oklahoma, Forsythe has been a winner at all levels of basketball. From the national stage with Team Griffin , to leading Dale to back to back Class 2A State Titles, the gritty lead guard simply produces. The evolution of his off the dribble shooting ability has made him an even tougher cover and helped propel him to being a Power 5 recruit. With a current 39 game win streak with Dale, and a 82-7 record for his career, Forsythe is set to continue to expand his legacy as he chases a third straight Gold Ball.
Committed to Wyoming, Warlick has been a walking double-double as he’s picked up back to back 6A State Titles with Edmond North and enjoyed similar success with Team Griffin on the national level. His finishing ability for a player his size is uncanny, as his strong frame allows him to take contact and his touch is unmatched. While still at his best as a unorthodox bully around the rim, he has gradually added improved handles and shooting to round out his scoring package. Warlick is another player looking to put a stamp on one of the most productive recent high school careers as he attempts to a win third State Championship ring.

The light started to come on for Combs-Pierce during his junior campaign with Norman, then fully turned on against national competition with Team Griffin . He’s the top defensive prospect in the state, one of the few players that could be described accurately as a potential 1-5 type defender at the next level. He makes use of his size and wingspan advantage when covering shorter players, while also using those some traits and grit to be competitive against opposing post players. The national competition highlighted that he does need to continue to improve as a shooter, but he does have a good off the dribble game with potential for highlight reel slams this year at Norman.
Mason made strides this summer, embracing a role as the primary scorer for the Tulsa Hawks . There is an argument to be made he’s the most naturally gifted prospect among this current group of seniors. A strong frame with impressive explosiveness, the Victory Christian senior should have an unstoppable senior season. He pairs a good back to the basket game, with a turnaround jumper and the ability to attack as a face up scorer. The highs in his game are high enough to be the best in the class, but the floor of his performances must be raised. One way to raise the floor would be to more often to impose his will as a rebounder and defender.
Tramble has been one of the most productive players in the state since he first stepped on a high school court in late 2020. He has a complete offensive game, with the ability to run a team in the halfcourt, push it and make reads in transition or score at all levels himself. After a strong end to his summer, Tramble has one last chance to capture a state title with a new program, Edmond North.
This past year has involved Dixon putting a certified stamp on his reputation as the best shooter in Oklahoma’s Class of 2024. And even expanding it to being one of the best shooters nationwide after shooting over 40% from distance for a full spring and summer against EYBL competition with Team Griffin . Now at Grind Prep, Dixon is already showing signs of expanding his game. Becoming more of a weapon off the dribble and starting to become more confident handling pressure, while being quietly one of the better passers in class. The now available senior is sure to earn more college interest as he takes his game to another level.
A powerful forward, Gray mixes his strong frame as a rebounder with one of the softest touches on a jumper of any prospect in the state. He’s extremely comfortable as a catch and shot player out of pick and pops or spotting up off the ball. Once his feet are set and he has a clear look, odds are it’s going in. In Oklahoma he’s a force to be reckoned with around the basket, and after some growing pains at the national 17U level, he finished the summer stronger. Which should lead to a dominating senior season for the Crusader, and make a priority for low major programs that want a versatile cornerstone.
One of the top scorers in Oklahoma, Lewis proved his scoring can travel after putting up strong numbers with Crab5, a Texas program on the UA Rise Circuit. The scoring ability and energy he plays with has turned him into a priority for junior colleges in particular, which could offer a path way to even the Division One level. A state tournament appearance and competing for a Gold Ball so far has eluded Lewis, which are both are attainable for the dynamic scorer.

Over the last 6 months Wilson has gone from an interesting but mysterious recruit to a bouncy, high upside wing-forward prospect. He excelled as a rim runner, explosive finisher, rebound and shot eraser with one of the better regional 17U teams, the Rogue ‘ last=”]. And is now putting in work to expand his overall game with Grind Prep. He may not have the full resume of other prospects on this list, but the combination of motor and natural gifts does give him top 5 upside in this class, which is probably a longwinded way to say I think he has D1 upside in his range of outcomes.
An electric player, Dill combines a silky handle and jumper with great quick twitch explosiveness that allows him to thrive as an off the dribble scorer. In transition he has an impressive above the rim finishing abilities for a guard his size. After guiding Caddo to a Class A title last year, Dill is a large reason why the Bruins are favorites to repeat. Dill could slot in a cornerstone type recruit for any regional D2 or NAIA program, or possibly use the JuCo level to find the right fit, which could come at an even higher level.
