Expert Analysis

The southeast Oklahoma standout claimed a Class A State Title last year with an impressive three day scoring performance at the Big House. He’s a quick athlete, capable of big time highlights in transition and often looks effortless with the way he creates separation off the dribble for jumpers. Along with his State Championship ring, Dill has broke into rare air as a member of the 2,000 career points club. From the big numbers against small school competition, to producing at the AAU level it’s obvious that his silky smooth scoring style and explosive athleticism translates to the next level.
Earlier this month, he committed to Southeastern Oklahoma State University. But before he makes the short trip from Caddo to Durant, he’s looking to make a return trip to the Big House and defend his Class A crown. Tonight is a chance for him to punch his ticket to OKC, with a match up against Wright City with an Area Championship on the line. In last year’s Area Championship, Dill torched the nets with 44 points. Could a similar performance be in line as he looks to end his high school career with a bang?

The southern Oklahoma hooper is one of the best scorers in the state and helped his Bruins to the Class A title last season. He averaged 24 points a game last year, with a mix of electrifying drives and a smooth off the dribble pull up game. Caddo will have a great chance to repeat in Class A and it’s likely that 50+ point games are on the horizon for Dill. The Mustang Holiday Classic at the end of December will be a great chance for Oklahoma City based basketball fans to be introduced to one of the most fun hoopers to watch in Oklahoma.

An electric player, Dill combines a silky handle and jumper with great quick twitch explosiveness that allows him to thrive as an off the dribble scorer. In transition he has an impressive above the rim finishing abilities for a guard his size. After guiding Caddo to a Class A title last year, Dill is a large reason why the Bruins are favorites to repeat. Dill could slot in a cornerstone type recruit for any regional D2 or NAIA program, or possibly use the JuCo level to find the right fit, which could come at an even higher level.

should continue to be a popular name for regional programs after a productive weekend in Houston. The athletic, multi-level scoring guard added McPherson (Kansas) to an offer list of OCU and Southeastern Oklahoma State. He should be a priority for regional D2s, JuCos and NAIAs. This weekend, he’ll be playing local in Oklahoma City.

Another explosive multifaceted scorer, Dill has an effortless like quality to his movements. He’s smooth, always in control and has easy lift when he finishes at the rim for slams. Along with his smooth leaping ability, Dill is silky when he pulls up off the dribble. The small town scorer has the physical and skill traits to translate to the next level. He’s started to collect a handful of Oklahoma small college offers, but does have the upside to potentially turn more heads this July.

The small town standout is fresh off a Class A State title. Last summer, he more than proved that his explosive scoring style translated to grassroots. Now with Team First in Saint Louis, he’ll have a big stage to show off his multi-level scoring ability.

The southern Oklahoma standout turned heads at least year’s Class A State tournament and his first performance in the 2023 edition continued his rise. Dill glided around the court, getting wherever he wanted. Especially with acrobatic finishes on drives. His jumper was pure as he hit from beyond the arc and in the midrange as well. Dill’s breathtaking athleticism was more than just hanging in the air on drives, he pinned a shot on a glass in the second half, that for some reason was called for a foul. It looked clean on video.
Dill finished with 29 points on only 14 shots. Making it a near flawless return to the Big House. The springy, long arm junior has D1 upside with his combination of quickness, leaping ability and skilled scoring package.

came into this season looking to lead the Bruins back to the state tournament and to go after the gold ball. They’ve essentially been the favorites all season because of what he can do on the basketball court and we’re looking forward to what he can do in the first weekend in March. Dill is a special talent that doesn’t get talked about enough when you talk about top guards in the state’s 2024 class. Dill can absolutely fill it up but what makes him special is his ability to drive to the basket. While watching him last spring and summer, Dill had multiple instances where he found angles that not many could find to get from Point A to Point B and finish at the basket.

Last season, the explosive small town guard helped Caddo to a 25-5 mark and an appearance in the Class A semifinals. Already over 1,000 points in just two seasons of play, Dill should be putting up video game like numbers all season long. As his game is a great blend of skilled and smooth shooting, with collegiate level athleticism.
