There’s a good group at the top that includes Nationally ranked Tyran Stokes Tyran Stokes 6'7" | SF Prolific Prep | 2026 State CA-N , and rising Andrew Hilman Andrew Hilman 6'4" | SG Archbishop Riordan | 2026 State CA-N . The others in this group have maintained their top 10 status with their solid production throughout the Spring and Summer. 4 of the 5 in this group played up an age.
Andre Gomez Andre Gomez 6'5" | SF Grant | 2026 State CA-N Sacramentos top prospect in this group. He spent the Spring, and Summer playing up with Compton Magic 16’s. He’s athletic and bouncy good in transition, looking for any and every opportunity to throw it down. The lefty has the skills and ability to effect the game in different ways. When playing his age, he’s often the most productive on the court. A 6’5 ball handler who can get a bucket, and create for others.
Rashod Cotton Rashod Cotton 6'2" | CG Modesto Christian | 2026 State CA-N remains in the top group with his improving combo guard skills, and decision making. It’s a learning process for the confident 6’2 guard. He has the ability, vision, and passing to find others. He also has scoring qualities, he’ll knock down tough shots with defenders hanging onto him, and a hand in his face. He’s good off the dribble.
Maximus VanLaningham Maximus VanLaningham 6'8" | PF Woodcreek | 2026 State CA-N is still developing his offensive skill-set not unusual for his age. He’s active in the post area, he understands his strengths right now is to defend in the paint, go after blocks, and haul in rebounds. His point production should tick up this season. He has good form shooting 3’s, he’s a court runner, sets solid screens and passes. He played up with Team Lillard 16. He could be a double, double prospect on Varsity.
Myles Jones Myles Jones 6'3" | PG Modesto Christian | 2026 State CA-N will take his guard skills to Modesto Christian. He’s a smart guard who handles himself well on the court, he doesn’t get rattled in the moment. We liked his point guard play at Section 7. His ball handling, and decision making stood out. We saw an aggressive player off ball looking for his shot in Vegas. Good form, shot selection, off the dribble pull-ups and 3ptrs made.
Raymond Whitley Raymond Whitley 6'2" | SG St. Ignatius | 2026 State CA-N might be the best scorer on the court when he plays 15U. He’s played all the way to 17U this Spring and Summer. He’s a bit streaky right now, but make no mistake, he’s confident he can generate buckets in different ways, from all angles, with body control. He’ll challenge, and score over bigs, knock down off the dribble jumpers, and drop 3’s. You call plays for him.
