About Aaron
Expert Analysis
Britt Wright | Prep Hoops Scout
NorCal’s top point guard on the top team in NorCal put 12pts on the board giving his team balance, and needed scoring in a closely contested game against one of Arizonas top teams. He had key drives into the paint including a left handed scoop that went in. With all that he does facilitating in the offense, he might be underrated as a defender. He has good length, he’s stronger than he looks. His help and alertness on defense generated 5 steals that were passed ahead for points.

Hunkin-Claytor provided an ultra-steady presence for The Pride throughout the week as he rarely turns the ball over, has a great sense of when to get others involved or create for himself, and comes up clutch in big moments.

Claytor comes over from Hawaii to man the PG position at Salesian Prep. A high IQ prospect who looks to involve teammates regular with his pass first PG skills. He can knock down the mid-range jumper, and 3ptr. He’s long, wiry with good foot-speed and lateral movements. He’s a good help, and on ball defender.
