Who has the highest ceiling?
Christopher Washington Jr. Christopher Washington Jr. 6'7" | SF The Villages | 2026 State FL ‘s long been considered a top prospect in the class, but everything clicked this summer as he gained strength and confidence, and his athleticism hit another gear. Jaxon Richardson Jaxon Richardson 6'5" | SF Columbus | 2026 State FL may be the best athlete in the state. His combination of bounce and rangy defense could turn him into one of the best two-way threats in 2026. Sinan Huan Sinan Huan 7'0" | C Windermere Prep | 2026 State FL will compete for the best big men throughout his tenure in the state. There’s a high ceiling for a 7 footer with agility and expanding shooting range.
Which prospect from your area is ranked too low?
Archie McFadden Archie McFadden 6'1" | PG North Tampa Christian | 2026 State FL strikes me as a guard who may be underrated. He’s a lightning-quick decision-maker who showcased the total package of a pass-first guard. His ability to mix in self-creation and penetration allows him to flow the offense through him. His speed and strength make him a good defender who can affect passing lanes.
Who has the potential to outplay their ranking this summer?
Evan Roberts Evan Roberts 6'1" | PG Palmetto | 2026 State FL may be in the perfect situation to play his way into a higher tier. Palmetto is his show to run for the 23-24 season. There, he’ll have the chance to create players for himself and others. Show off his quickness, crafty ball handling, and ability to score on three levels. With the resume he could build playing in the toughest region in the state, he’ll pose an argument for a bump during fall ball.
Anyone you think will play their way onto this list?
Willie Piggot Jr. Willie Piggot Jr. 6'4" | CG Oldsmar Christian | 2026 State FL is a serious candidate to play himself into the next update. The 6’4 wing is athletic and tough. He must show how his physical tools tie into his on-court IQ. Dallas Lambert Dallas Lambert 6'4" | SF Port Charlotte | 2026 State FL is another athletic wing with the size and toughness to earn a spot in the expanded rankings. A dominant fall ball season could give him the boost he needs.
