Ohio United got their usual production from Kruz McClure Kruz McClure 6’6″ | SG Westerville South | 2025 State #183 Nation OH , who scored 14 of his teams first 16 points, but it was the bench providing the extra spark that pushed them over the top. One bench piece who stood out was Aaron Foster Aaron Foster 6’1″ | PG Dublin Scioto | 2025 State OH , who had a couple layups on drives, finishing off one and two feet. Foster also competed defensively and pushed the ball up the court to teammates on the fast break. Due to his impressive play earlier in the game, Foster was on the court in crunch time as Ohio United closed it out to win the 16 U Grit Region Championship.

Another guy who came off the bench and made a huge impact, Theado was one of the top performers from the 16 U championship game. Scoring with either hand at the rim, Theado was attacking closeouts, finishing with his back to the basket and off second chance points. His highlight of the game came on a dunk in the half-court with a defender nearby. Was really impressed with the production of Theado, who also was in at the end of the game to seal the victory.
Another big-time shooting performance from Whitaker as he scored a team high 20 points to lead Kentucky Future to the 17 U championship game where they fell short to Kyle Guy Elite. This weekend, Whitaker proved he’s one of the top shooters in Kentucky and a name for small college programs to keep a close eye on as he prepares for his senior season.

Sunday’s final four battle was by far the best I’ve seen Fairley play on the Prep Hoops Circuit this year as he did a little bit of everything to contribute for his team. Defensively, he was flying around and forcing turnovers. As a passer, Fairley makes the right read in transition and got a handful of assists. Tough to stop as a slasher, Fairley can attack the rim and finish in the paint. Currently holding one offer from Lourdes University, expect more schools to get involved with Fairley this winter as he tries to lead Lutheran West back to Dayton.
