Parham was sensational all week, helping guide Western Reserve to their first ever National Prep Championship. The Pittsburgh native finished with 34 points in one game, and averaged 22.5 points and 8.8 rebounds over their four game span. Marquette fans should be thrilled about Parham’s arrival next year.

combined for 46 points and both shot over 50% from the floor in a comfortable victory for Western Reserve Academy against Canyon International Academy. Parham just flat out produces, he moves without the basketball and can really score from inside the paint. Also capable of stepping out and hitting the jumper, the consistency of that shot is going to be key for him at the next level. I thought the defining play of the day for Parham was when he caught a trail kickout and took two dribbles then knocked down a floater with a defender riding him the entire way. Moves like that will translate to the high major level and Parham will be one of the younger freshman in the country next season.

Our new top prospect, Parham moves to Ohio from Pittsburgh where he played last season at North Hills. Parham is committed to Marquette where our number two prospect and fellow Western Reserve teammate

also is committed to. Parham was a productive forward on the EYBL circuit, helping lead Team Durant to a Peach Jam appearance. One of the younger prospects in the 2024 class, Parham has a ton of upside down the road and is already one of the more productive forwards in the country. An impressive athlete and skilled, Parham displays a lot of the skills modern forward’s use. A capable shooter from the outside as well, Parham went 3/10 in five games in North Augusta at Peach Jam. Parham also shot 53% from the field that week. Marquette has done a great job at developing prospects they sign out high school and haven’t taken many transfer portal prospects over the past few off-seasons, I expect Parham to be a valuable piece with a year or two of development under Shaka Smart’s leadership. To me, Parham is a potential top 50 national prospect in the country. Currently ranked 76th on ON3, 66th on 247 and 90th on Rivals, I’d have Parham even a little higher than where 247 has him at the moment.

One of the youngest prospects in the 2024 class and the newest top member of Ohio’s 2024 class, this was my first opportunity to scout Parham in person. The Team Durant forward will be playing at Western Reserve Academy for his senior season and added to our Prep Hoops Ohio rankings during the next update. I was really impressed with the athleticism, consistent production and ability to score in the paint. With a couple dunks in the half court where he got up easily, Parham is tough to stop in the paint. Shooting 58% from the field, Parham is efficient with his shots and doesn’t make the game complicated. Biggest area of development for Parham is the outside shot and he’s 1/4 on 3-pointers and 11/19 from the free throw line. That will be the swing skill for Parham at Marquette. Really big fan of his game and he’s shown why he’s regarded as a top 100 prospect this week.
