A state champion on the gridiron, Theado is one of the more productive senior forwards in central Ohio as well. His versatility as a roll man who can also space the floor combined with his strength makes Theado a tough cover for high school opposition and he’s a big reason why Bishop Watterson has had as much success as they’ve had this winter. We’ll see where Theado chooses to play in college and what sport as he’ll attract interest for both football and basketball.

Theado was the positive for the Bishop Watterson Squad on Friday night. When they were playing well it was when he was aggressive and creative. I am very impressed with his playmaking ability. He was able to either get himself or others a bucket when he wanted to. He showed great footwork and lower body strength. Always on balance and was able to get to his spot. He has a great mid-range game when he faces up and with his back to the basket. He knocked down shots. He did a great job of creating shots for himself and others.

Theado just got done winning a state championship on the gridiron with a monster game in the title game from the tight end position. He continues to impress me with his production in both sports as just a player who helps you win games, produces and competes. After averaging 18 points and 9 rebounds a game as a Junior, it’ll be interesting to see where Theado improves his game as a senior. Excited to continue to track his growth as one of the top all around athletes in central Ohio’s 2025 class who has the athleticism to play either sport at the college level if he desires to.

Theado had a monster Junior season on the hardwood, averaging 18.3 PPG and 9.5 RPG. He became one of the most dominant interior scorers with his strength and power plus patient finishing ability. His athleticism is also on full display on the gridiron for a Bishop Watterson squad that might be the state title favorites in Division III.

A two-sport stud for Bishop Watterson, Theado had a big Junior year on the gridiron and hardwood. With his strong frame and physicality translating over to both sports, Theado is a tough cover offensively due to his ability to stretch the floor and also overpower defenders on the block. Likely going to be recruited for both sports, Theado could really help a small college basketball program due to his scoring, size and basketball IQ.

A multi-sport athlete who has been on an absolute tear since January, Theado has been flat out dominating for Bishop Watterson. A problem on the block due to his strength and physicality, it’s easy to see why Theado is a standout on the gridiron when you watch him on the hardwood. A prospect who flat out produces game after game, Theado does work in the post and plays with a high motor. Tough to stop on drives due to his ability to occasionally stretch the floor with a jumper, Theado plays off two feet on drives. Watterson is playing excellent basketball heading into a district final against Jonathan Alder, we’ll see if they can advance to the regional stage of the tournament.

the night prior, Bishop Watterson continued to roll with a dominant performance over Wadsworth. With tough defense and crisp ball movement, Watterson had a variety of guys contribute as Theado won game MVP. A multi-sport stud, Theado uses his strength to bully opponents on drives. A good shooter as well, the Watterson guards drove and kicked to Theado for open looks that he converted efficiently. A slam dunk was the icing on the cake for a strong weekend by the Eagles.

The second Ohio United prospect on this list, Theado had a huge weekend at the Grit Region Finals where he helped his Ohio United squad get the championship at the Prep Hoops Circuit. Improving as an athlete over the past couple months, Theado looks more explosive at the basket. His ability to use the inside-outside game to score is impressive with the ability to overpower opponents at the rim or space them out and attack off the bounce and finish off two feet. With Bishop Watterson graduating some key contributors from their team last season, expect Theado to be a focal point of their offense this season.

Theado scored 16 points in the championship game as Ohio United-McClure 2025 won the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals 16u title. The 6’5″ wing routinely got to the basket off of the dribble where his size allowed him to dominate smaller defenders. He is so strong yet also skilled with the ball. His presence as a matchup nightmare was crucial for Ohio United winning it all.

Another guy who came off the bench and made a huge impact, Theado was one of the top performers from the 16 U championship game. Scoring with either hand at the rim, Theado was attacking closeouts, finishing with his back to the basket and off second chance points. His highlight of the game came on a dunk in the half-court with a defender nearby. Was really impressed with the production of Theado, who also was in at the end of the game to seal the victory.
