Expert Analysis
Michael Roth | Prep Hoops Scout
A football commit at the FBS level to Miami (OH), Bellisari is an exceptional athlete who makes plays in the open court that few athletes can make. Bellisari has some unreal blocks, pass deflections and skies for rebounds in traffic that he has no business coming down with. When he’s knocking down jumpers it’s incredibly hard to slow him down and he’s a main reason why Bishop Watterson was able to make a run to the regional championship. A fun prospect to watch compete, I always enjoy seeing star athletes in other sports play on the hardwood.

Putting the team on his back for long stretches of the game, Bellisari is criminally underrated in our 2027 rankings and due for a huge leap during our next update. A monster athlete, Bellisari plays with so much explosiveness and power and attacks passes like a wide receiver or safety that makes him a Division I football commit to Miami (OH). If Bellisari is knocking down 3-point shots like he usually connects from the mid-range then he is a no brainer scholarship target on the hardwood if basketball was his primary focus. Really enjoyable athlete to watch compete and despite me not knowing anything about football recruiting, I’d bet on him having a very successful college career.

One of the top athletes in central Ohio, Bellisari had a monster game on both ends of the floor. Showing off his athleticism, Bellisari had some incredible blocked shots and steals. Bellisari also turned defense to offense with multiple buckets off his steals. Late in the game Bellisari had a crucial drop off assist and gave Watterson the lead for good on a layup off a sweet spin move. While his future in college isn’t on the hardwood, Bellisari is the engine on the district champs who will go to the Convocation Center confident they can end their season in Dayton.

A dual-sport athlete, Bellisari is a state champion on the gridiron and had three interceptions and 59 tackles as a sophomore on that state championship team. Going to a few college football camps already, Bellisari has prioritized his recruitment in that sport and holds an early offer to Miami (OH). Despite being a football first athlete, Bellisari has some intriguing skills on the hardwood as well with a strong frame, a capable jump shot and can pass the ball at a high level. Talented athlete from central Ohio!
