The top ranked big in Ohio, Keyes played a solid bench role for Garfield Heights as a freshman. Learning behind Kent State commit DeAndre Jones, Keyes showed some intriguing flashes in the minutes he was able to play as a freshman. Keyes has a bigger build but is pretty nimble on his feet and has more explosiveness than you’d expect from a forward with his body. Also capable of stretching out the defense and knocking down shots from 3-point range, Keyes will play a big role for All Ohio Red ‘s 15 U group this spring and summer.

A prospect who came to our freshman showcase and stood out with his ability to rebound, defend and move his feet. Reynolds is a solid glue piece as the lefty wing forward played hard, blocked shots and scored on second chance points. After playing his freshman year at Bishop Hartley, Reynolds has already transferred back to public school powerhouse Olentangy Liberty. The potential front-court of Reynolds and Tyler Kropp Tyler Kropp 6’8″ | PF Olentangy Liberty | 2025 State OH could be the best in central Ohio next season.
One of the highest upside forwards in Ohio’s 2027 class, Bronston looks the part physically with his height, length and mobility. Still developing as a prospect, Bronston rebounded the ball well and protected the rim when I caught him at the tail end of a JV game this winter with Fairfield. A name to know for the future, Bronston will become a household name in southwest Ohio before it’s all said and done.
The only center who made our initial rankings, Lewis was a player we saw at our freshman showcase and at the Toledo Top 64. Another player who has a long way to go, Lewis upside is very easy to see. Lewis has excellent size for a player his age and seems to be still developing into his body. Starting for Maumee Valley Country Day as a freshman, Lewis flashed offensive upside while also being a defensive force as a rim protector. Lewis set a school record for blocks in a season as a freshman with 51, a number he’s likely to break next year if he can stay healthy. A name to know in northwest Ohio, Lewis will be a highly monitored player as it’s crucial to consiscently check in on how young bigs are developing.

Notable Watchlist Players
Another player who attended our freshman showcase, Arbogast got nice reps at Saint Edward this season. A program that hardly ever sees any freshman crack the varsity rotation, the Eagles usually allow players to develop at the freshman and JV levels to be ready for the callup when it happens. I was impressed with the athleticism Arbogast showed at our showcase and his rebounding ability. Hope to see him again in the summer and check in on how he’s progressed since my last in person scout in the fall.

Got to see Minor with Canton Central Catholic this winter and left impressed with the size and skill level he showed for a freshman. It was easy to see the potential with Minor and why Wildcat Select made him a priority for their 15 U group. A prospect I only got to see one high school game in person, I got a glimpse on what I saw from Minor’s highlight tape. I’ll definitely be closely monitoring Minor’s development over the next few years.
