Daramola is 6’8, athletic, and moves extremely well. That foundation alone is a lot to be excited about but Daramola’s motor is what really takes his game to the next level. Aggressive on the boards and an active defender, Daramola is a difference-maker when he’s on the floor. UAB offered a year ago and I expect many more to follow in June and July.
The Pissis name has been bouncing around the Atlanta basketball scene for years now and Alex has now taken the torch from his talented older brothers. He’s a special athlete at 6’6, constantly above the rim and not afraid of contact up there either. I’d best characterize Pissis as a slashing 3 but the jumpshot isn’t to be slept on. Pissis has yet to receive his first offer but he’s a no-brainer D1 talent in my eyes.
Cedric Taylor Cedric Taylor 6’10” | PF Creekside Christian | 2025 State GA popped up on our radar in July after coming to the states from Sweden. Taylor is a skilled 6’9 athlete with all the tools of a next-level power forward. He’s shown the ability to step out and knock down the jumper consistently, a capable scorer out of either post as well. Taylor started the spring with Team Scoot before hopping over to TSF, both situations able to get some eyes on Taylor and build some buzz as he heads into his junior year.
I’ll start by saying few players in the state have the pure scoring ability of Marcus Gillespie Marcus Gillespie 6’4″ | CG Clarke Central | 2025 State #171 Nation GA . He averaged 29 points per game as a sophomore at Clarke County and has followed that with some huge outings on the spring circuit. Gillespie is a skilled combo guard that can really heat up from three. He’s got some sneaky bounce as well and while his body is still developing, there are intriguing physical tools present. A number of high-majors have expressed interest but none have offered yet to my knowledge.
Highlights
Zach Bleshoy Zach Bleshoy 6’4″ | CG Pope | 2025 State GA is a joy to evaluate each time out, the skill and craftiness always on display. There’s so many ways in which Bleshoy can punish defenses, both as the scorer and the facilitator. Bleshoy offers good size and athleticism at the point guard position, 6’4 and able to play above the rim. With a full year of experience running the show, I expect Bleshoy to take another step this year at Pope and prove that he’s one of the best guards in his class.
