The individual stocks, with these prospects, are rising and coaches should begin following their progress as they look to get better and show that they can compete at the next level.
Daniel Hollis Daniel Hollis 6’6″ | SF Cedar Shoals | 2026 State GA has been having some strong performances in the month of April. During the regular season, he didn’t get as much playing time as he’d hoped but, he has put in a lot of work and his game has grown tremendously. At 6’6″, he’s become legit threat on the wing, scoring as many as 30 points, in The On the Radar event, “The Gauntlet”. He has a long, wiry frame, and his athletic ability makes him extremely hard to stop in the open court. Daniel’s ability to play above rim stands out with college coaches. Now that he’s adding the 3-ball to his game and the mid-range jumper, he’s evolving into a 3-level scorer that is effective on and off the ball. Along with his offensive skills, he’s a defense stopper on the perimeter and around the rim. As he continues to improve his shot making ability, his handles, and his decision making, expect him to keep climbing the rankings throughout the spring and summer.
Deston Foote Deston Foote 5’8″ | PG Cedar Shoals | 2026 GA , has flown under the radar for a while. But now that travel ball is underway, he’s starting to show that his name should be mentioned in coaches’ circles at some of the smaller schools, in the area. Standing around 5’10”, he’s arguably the best ball-handler and decision maker in the class of 2026, in Northeast Georgia. He’s a true floor general that can command an offense and be the extension, of the coach, on the floor. He’s a playmaker in transition and understands how to pass guys open to get them easy shot attempts. He can knock down the occasional 3-pointer and can get paint touches, when he’s looking to be aggressive with his scoring. He had his coming out party last weekend, at the HoopSeen “Tennessee Jam” where he had multiple games scoring over 15 points and 7 assists. Deston will continue to get better, especially if he continues to take advantage of the weight room and becomes more and more explosive athletically.
Matt Allen Matt Allen 6’2″ | SG Gatewood | 2026 GA is probably the biggest hidden gem of them all in the class of 2026, in the entire state of Georgia. He’s lethal beyond the arc, having games where he’s shot 65-80% from deep on, with 5 or more attempts. At the 3SSB Circuit Session I, in Omaha, NE, he showed that he can be the best catch-and-shoot scorer in the gym. He also showed how dangerous he can be coming off screens and knocking down shoots without hesitation. His defensive efforts and willingness to guard one of the better offensive guys, on the opposing team, makes him more of a two-way player. Matt is a high energy player that thrives off of inner motivation. Matt’s game will take another big jump, as he shows his ability to drive and get to the rim, with little effort, and as he becomes more comfortable shooting off the dribble.
At first glance, Devin Hubbard looks like at ‘3 & D’ guy because he doesn’t waste time showing he has range, and he’s willing to anchor down and apply pressure to ball-handlers. Last weekend at the HoopSeen GA Cup II, and this past weekend at the On The Radar “Summer Jam”, DJ was recognized for his defensive efforts and his 3-point shooting. In addition to being a 3-point specialist, DJ pushes the ball extremely well in transition, and almost always makes the right read. If there’s a scoring lane, he attacks it, and if he has a teammate in a better scoring position, he gets the ball out of his hands fast. Devin has the ability to impact a game from several angles and the more he’s looking to score, the more it opens up his playmaking opportunities to get teammates involved. At the pace DJ has been playing at, he should be making his way into the rankings and fast. Devin can really take another leap, this spring and summer, by creating contact on the drive, maintaining his handles through contact, and getting into the paint to create easy scoring attempts for himself and others.
Jerrin Samuel Jerrin Samuel 6’4″ | CG Winder-Barrow | 2026 State GA was the first Northeast GA, class of 2026 prospect to burst on the scene. He’s been handling business since last summer when he earned his first Division-I offer from Tennesse Tech. He’s now 6’4″ and is a difficult to game plan for. Jerrin is a true 3-level scorer that plays defense, involves teammates, rebounds well, and most importantly, has a high IQ. He does what needs to be done to get the W. He can put the ball on the floor and create looks for himself and for his teammates. He opened up circuit play in Ohama, NE, last weekend and in his first game scored 11 points and had 11 rebounds. Jerrin’s athletic ability as seem some major improvement and it shows. He’s one to watch as this spring and summer could boost recruiting in a major way.
