A springy combo guard at 6-foot-2, Brown’s ability to get to the lane and draw contact on his drives and either finish or draw fouls is high level. On top of that he can create off the dribble and did a good job of feeding shooters as well as his big men.

Every time Eagle’s Landing threatened, CJ Brown CJ Brown 6'2" | PG Kell | 2024 State #150 Nation GA had an answer. The USF-signee exploded toward the rim for dazzling finishes. CJ was comfortable taking his defenders into the post where he would back them down before turning to score. Brown went 7-10 from the line and finished with 21 points and 9 rebounds.

CJ Brown CJ Brown 6'2" | PG Kell | 2024 State #150 Nation GA could be the most electric point guard in the state, elite speed in the open floor and crazy explosiveness at the rim. He’s got quick feet and active hands on the defensive end which allow him to force a lot of turnovers. As a college prospect, the intangibles take him to the next level. Brown is the centerpiece for Kell this year as they look to repeat in 5A.

CJ Brown CJ Brown 6'2" | PG Kell | 2024 State #150 Nation GA enters his senior season at Kell and he knows what it takes, having won the state championship and earned all-state honors as a junior. The road looks much tougher for the Longhorns though after losing Brown’s big partner in the middle, Peyton Marshall Peyton Marshall 7'0" | C Overtime Elite | 2024 State GA . I expect Brown to step up nonetheless and with more floor spacing, Brown’s scoring numbers could see a serious uptick. He’s so good around the rim, largely because of his tremendous bounce and we’ve seen that he’s willing to posterize any defenders in his way. His IQ and speedy handle are among the best in the state as well. Brown committed to South Florida back in August, allowing him to focus on one goal… repeat.

He’s a strong, above-the-rim finisher and really impacts the glass. Brown’s also played a lot of high-level basketball between Kell and Game Elite. He visited South Florida this week and also holds offers from Rice, Georgia State, Kennesaw State, and more.
