Kryon McDonald
McDonald is long, athletic, and wants to win at all costs. These are some of the qualities I see when I watched Kryon McDonald play at Rocky Mountain Mayhem. He is a constant threat to score at the rim whenever he is on the court. Kryon has a quick first step which catches defenders by surprise making his first bucket extremely easy. As the weekend went on it was clear that whenever he decided to put his foot on the gas and turn up the level of play his team would walk away with the win.
William Rinnels
William Rinnels
7070 Athletics has come on the scene this summer making a huge impact in the last two PrepHoops tournaments with players like Will Rinnels being the reason why. He is a guard that plays hard on both ends not letting opposing players get the better of him. He is able to get to his spots on the floor and convert making the offense flow smoothly. Will is a freshman guard that is on the rise and will continue to let his play do the talk.

Javon Gonzales Javon Gonzales 5’11” | PG Fort Lupton | 2026 State CO from Fort Lupton is a name that will ring throughout the state in the next few years. He is a pure point guard that has the ability to impact the game in more ways than just scoring the ball. Watching him lead the team makes you realize how much opposing teams had to adjust their defenses. Javon seemed to know what the defense would do before they did giving him open lanes to finish at the rim or throw a flashy pass to an open teammate.
Zachary Sample
Zachary Sample
Zachary Sample was a nightmare for opposing teams at Rocky Mountain Mayhem, and probably not for reasons you would think. Yes, he was able to put the ball in the basket and make plays for his teammates but so were other guards. Zachary stood out by his ability to read the floor and put himself in positions to be successful time and time again. They came easy to him because only took the shots he knew he could make.
Rodney Traver II
Rodney Traver II
Strong guards that can score in a variety of ways will always be a little bit ahead of the pack, but Rodney Traver II adds defense to that also. Making him a hand full to deal with once the ball goes in the air. The way Rodney was able to control the game from the defensive side of ball over the weekend makes him a prospect worth taking a deeper look into. At 6’1” he has the size to guard 1-4 allowing his team to play small ball for long periods of time without giving up any points offensively.
