OUTLOOK - Davenport has been atop the 2B polls for most of the season. The biggest reason why is player of the year candidate and the most athletic player in 2B - [player_tooltip player_id='1416280' first='Tennessee' last='Rainwater']. He's tough to keep in front and if you do, he has the court vision to pick teams apart. [player_tooltip player_id='1821320' first='Brenick' last='Soliday'] is a four year starter at point guard and one of the best of those in 2B. He plays within himself, and takes care of the ball. He can score when needed and is a threat from three. Adna made a run through the District 4 tournament before falling to MWP in the title game. Not too big of a surprise after a 5th place finish in the Central 2B. They have one of the better point guards in [player_tooltip player_id='1450957' first='Braeden' last='Salme'] and are well coached by his dad Luke Salme. Eli Smith is an athletic wing who had some strong performances in district.

[player_tooltip player_id='1451035' first='Avi' last='West'], [player_tooltip player_id='1450956' first='Asher' last='West'], Nate Clark

OUTLOOK - This is a rematch from last year's state tournament that MWP won. [player_tooltip player_id='1416730' first='Josh' last='Salguero'] is the best post player in the tournament at 6'7. He is skilled and strong, making him a mismatch for the defense most nights. Hunter Hazen showed up big in district play with some of his best scoring performances. He had 28 in the semi-finals vs Chief Leschi and followed it up with a big game in the championship. Northwest Christian is led by guards [player_tooltip player_id='1451035' first='Avi' last='West'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1450956' first='Asher' last='West']. The former is a big time scorer and could present some problems on the perimeter, as well as his toughness in the lane. After a tough early season loss to Davenport, they have come together and won games. Finishing district at 20-4.

OUTLOOK - Napavine gets a trip to the East side for the 2nd year in a row after falling to Colfax in Spokane last season at the regional round. Lake Roosevelt is a team that has some quick guards, led by [player_tooltip player_id='1837777' first='Chase' last='Marchand'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1499036' first='Brandon' last='Pino']. They return all 5 starters from last year's state tournament team. Chase Clark is a good athlete and provides toughness on the interior and scoring from all levels. Napavine has Central 2B CO-MVP [player_tooltip player_id='1450615' first='James' last='Grose'] and his 28 points a game. Karsen Denault was a 1st team all league selection in the Central 2B. They have a strong starting five but no seniors are on it.

OUTLOOK - Burbank has to feel a bit slighted with the number 4 seed. They ran the table, aside from an early season loss to Davenport with two starters out. They are led by a couple of Sophomore guards in Frimodt and Scott as well as senior guard Michael Lenke. They could make a case as one of the top 2 or 3 teams to beat, no question. They get Brewster for their reward. A team that always seems to play their best at the state tournament. Last year's runner up, they are led by the other player of the year candidate in [player_tooltip player_id='923109' first='Kelson' last='Gebbers']. [player_tooltip player_id='2368969' first='Brady' last='Wulf'] is a secondary scoring option from the guard position. Cort Gebbers provides toughness in the paint and rebounding.

Prediction - Burbank 75-71
